“Beautiful family in a beautiful locations :)”
Had a lovely stay with this beautiful family. The surroundings are stunning with the garden and the pond with lotus flowers. The family are the nicest people too and the kids are so cute and friendly! Had a kottu here for dinner and it was delicious.

“Lovely stay”
The owners where very kind and helpful, it’s a lovely family. They make you feel like home. They helped with the Safari and transport. They provided breakfast very yummy, and it was also possible to have dinner with them. The room was clean, and so was the bathroom, there was ac and mosquito repelent

Everything was wonderful: the hosts and their family, , the spacious room, the garden, the breakfast / dinner, I still can't believe it was that cheap! The best quality/ price I've ever had. The safari arranged by the host was very nice also and for an interesting price.

“Perfect homestay a hidden gem”
Absolutely everything! I can't rate this place highly enough. Run by the sweetest family with adorable children who played with us before breakfast on our last day. So sweet. Speaking of breakfast.. wow the food they provided us for breakfast was delicious. They also organised our safari at a competitive rate and provided us a perfect packed breakfast to eat on the trip and provided lunch of the best kottu we've had so far. The room was basic but perfect with great aircon, comfortable beds and good wifi. The surrounding gardens and pond were beautiful. Don't worry when you arrive on the street as this place is a secluded hidden gem! The location was good enough only a 10 minute walk away from restaurants, the reservoir and a beautiful hike by the river.

Thank you to the family for a nice stay. The rooms were clean and tidy, the air conditioning was great in this weather. The big garden with the Lotus lake was beautiful... I appreciate the fast one. conversation, our family arranged a safari with breakfast and lunch for a great price.

“100% recommended to anyone going to Uda Walawe National Parl”
Everything was perfect. The rooms, the food (had dinner and breakfast), the portico and the surroundings were great. The host was the best. Really helpfull with everything we needed. Best host in Sri Lanka so far. Also the safari we booked through the hotel was amazing. The driver picked us up at the hotel and brought us back. Very good price of the safari, and the hotel is really cheap.

“An excellent stay offering a truly warm and friendly Sri Lankan experience.”
My wife and I really enjoyed our stay at Avian Garden. The room was perfect, the garden beautiful and the three Sri Lankan breakfasts and evening meals were excellent. Usaj made sure we experienced very tasty Sri Lankan food. He arranged a Safari in the National Park with a local man who was very well informed concerning all the flora and fauna in the park. Avian Garden is in a discreet location, within easy walk of Udawalawe. As we walked by, the friendliness of the people in the nearby homes was very encouraging, as were the people in Udawalawe.

Delicious breakfast and The owner were so friendly! Everyone should go to this place when they visit Udawalawe. Possible to get tasty dinner aswell. The owner can arrange everything for your stay :)

“nice place for a one night stay in Udawalawe”
- Good breakfast - Quiet place - Clean room - SAFARI : we paid, through our host, 17000 rps for a 2 person private safari / 5 hours (included everything). The safari and driver was fine, saw a lot of elephants.

Very quit and calm location with friendly staff. Rooms are very niet & clean.Foods were very tasty. Thier garden has a natural Pool with lotus flowers and huge exotic Trees ( Mango, Siyambala etc. ) in the garden that we could sit and having some tea in relaxing environment. Good place to Yoga and Meditation. They orgenized Safari to Udawalawe park for reasonable price. Great place that we will be back definitely next time.
