“A real gem”

One of the nicest places we have stayed on our trips around the world. Madri Haveli is a gem. We booked the suite that is huge. The bed was big enough for us (2 adults and 1 kid) and there are cushions inside the other rooms that could fit 10 people(well it would be crowded though) The windows have colored glasses that give the living room(not the bedroom) a pinkish color during the day creating an amazing game of lights. The doors are really heavy, rustic and look like 300 yrs old. The bathroom is made of stone and everything is super clean. Very high quality toiletries are provided. The staff is super nice and speaks very good english. The restaurant serves amazing food on the rooftop where you have a very nice view of Udaipur and there is even a cool pleasant night breeze even in June. We love the heat so even if Udaipur is very hot in summer it was still very nice to visit. We ate at the resaturant on the rooftop several times and we ordered typical Rajasthani dishes like Dungar Maas(amazing) and Lal Maas. They also have wine that is good but pricey like everywhere else in India. The butter chicken i tried here was amazing too, the best I have ever had. My son tried the pizza once and he loved it too. Breakfast was good too. Staying at Madri Haveli is a travel back in time. There are even painting frescoes in the rooms . I Forgot to ask if they are original. I have to say that they look original. Stuff you usually see in museums. Here it's in your own room. Thanks for everything!

Staff were lovely, The hotel was very quiet because it is out of season, but they still set up the bar on the roof just for us. Location is great. Very safe to walk around even at night

“beautiful architecture and comfortable stay”

Staff was a great help and always there to help, only noticed the big communal room the day we left but such a nice area to relax. They offer lots of food and is very nearby to most shops, the beds were super comfortable and the architecture of the entire building is gorgeous

The building was a work of art and love, a meticulously renovated tasteful rajistani haveli. The staff were excellent and the morning breakfasts in the cool of the rooftops were exceptional. Work and leisure time spent in many hotels and this would rank as one of the best.

“Magical boutique hotel!”

This boutique hotel is truly amazing for its location, elegance, sophistication and charm. We love how this ancient building has been rebuilt through exquisite attention to details and how it is maintained. The room was very clean and incredibly quiet. All members of staff are nice and the restaurant serves delicious food. Highly recommended!

I loved everything about the hotel. A few days before my arrival, I was given a heads up about my checkin and warm greetings. The room was clean with eco friendly toiletries and items, which I really appreciated. Jeetendra Ji, who was at the reception was extremely helpful upon my arrival. My stay was only for one night but he made sure to recommend the very best in and around the hotel. He even helped reserve a scenic dining experience for both me and my friends from the UK. My experience at the Madri Haveli was 10/10 and would certainly come back again.

Clean rooms, best service, great food - really this was the best hotel we had in India - we also enjoyed a nice massage and the rooftop gives you an amazing view over the city. Staff very helpful and they even organized us a Taxi to Jodpur after they have canceled our bus! Would recommend everyone to come here and enjoy your stay in Udaipur!

Perfect location close to the highlights. Great romantic room. Nice breakfast on the rooftop with the choice of continental breakfast. Before the bridge we were picked up by the tuktuk of the hotel with all our luggage. Nice swimmingpool nextdoor at Madri Haveli Retreat. We had a great dinner and cocktails at hotel Ambrai.
