“Great value for lake views”

Great location, very good value for money. We needed a 4am check and they happily accommodated this for a small surcharge. Well positioned for views of the lake from the room, And especially from their rooftop restaurant.

The staff were extremely unhelpful. Firstly they tried to double charge us for our booking as they requested the money for our stay before we arrived and then tried to charge us again when we got to the hotel. I was jet lagged so paid twice. I then told the staff this mistake and showed them proof of double payments and an email from them saying I wouldn’t need to pay when I got to the property. They said they would look into it and despite asking them every day they did nothing. In the end I had to complain to booking.com but the property rejected the request twice saying it was an FX difference. Eventually I got my money back but it took almost two weeks. The room is also terrible and the staff didn’t help us with any of our requests. Avoid this place

The staff were accommodating and helpful to give suggestions, even if the language barrier might pose as an issue.

The location is serene. You can just sit and stare the view outside the windows all day long

I really liked the hospitality and behaviour of the staff. The caretaker and receptionist made us feel very comfortable. The rooms were clean and the location is very convenient.

Very clean rooms, sheets, towels, shower, toilet. Running, steaming hot water. Very comfortable beds. Very hospitable staff. Very cooperative, attentive and prompt. The amenities provided were good. The rooms are very spacious with a large double bed, a double sofa cum bed, a single bed in the window overlooking the street below. And plenty of space in the middle of the room. A comfortable wardrobe, a long counter, a side counter for the bags. The rooms also had a comfortable sized balcony with two chairs. And 24 hours running hot water in the bathroom. It's exactly as in the photos. Despite being on a very busy, narrow street with a lot of traffic and honking of horns, the rooms were fully sound proofed. We had a wonderful, quiet stay. We spent two nights at this hotel. On the morning of our check-out they arranged for us to keep our suitcases with them the entire day. In the evening the allowed us the use of a large bathroom so that we could freshen up and change our clothes for our night journey. We had actually booked two rooms with full lake view nearly three months in advance at Vallabhgarh - A lake facing balcony hotel, now renamed as Hotel Vallabh. But Hotel Vallabh cancelled our booking on the day of our arrival without our consent despite us having a booking confirmation on booking.com. We were stranded in a strange city on the night of 31st December without any place to stay. When we called Hotel the Tiger, they had two rooms available but without a lake view. Fortunately they had just two rooms available at their "The Luxury Tiger" hotel. The manager Mr. Shailendra Rathod walked down with us in the crowded streets and arranged our comfortable stay at "The Luxury Tiger". The manager of "The Luxury Tiger" Mr. Sohan was very kind and attentive to all our requests. The bellboy Mr. Vishal was also very proactive. We will surely recommend this hotel as the staff is very attentive, helpful and prompt.

Very nice view from our rooms.

The rooms where my family and I stayed were large and offered a great amount of natural lighting. We also had a very good view of the lake, just as promised during the booking. The location is ideal, as it is close to the City Palace Museum, the lake, the temple, and other shops. Finally, the people at the reception were friendly and courteous.

The location was awesome and fun to stay at. All the location were nearby. The people working at the hotel were good and accommodated to every need. Would love to try the lake view room next time. I would definitely recommend this hotel. The interior of the hotel were really beautiful

Perfect location in the heart of the city. The view from the rooftop exceptional, you could not wish for better location. Clean and comfortable bed, we had the best night’s sleep on our travels in India. Very good value for money.
