“Amazing stay in lovely Ucluelet”
What a gem! Small but cozy room in a beautiful and quiet part of Ucluelet. The beach is super close, the lighthouse trail (recommended!) can be reached with a short walk. There were deer chilling on the street in the mornings and we heard seals while breakfasting on the patio. Sounds of the sea indeed! The room is comfortable; good bed, a small fridge, bath/shower with nice shampoo and conditioner, coffee machine and kettle. We appreciated the big mugs. Last but not least, the hosts are really welcoming and kind. CJ gave us lots of tips for sights around the area. Also knows a lot about the wildlife and nature. Amazing to hear that he actually built the rainforest trail loop!

“Perfectly proportioned and arranged, a perfect spot for Ucluelet adventures!”
It was cosy, comfortable, and had everything you needed and more. I really loved the local toiletries and personal touches. And such a perfect location- quiet and close to the trails but not too out of the way if you needed to zip to the grocery store, etc.

Our stay at Sounds of the Sea was my personal highlight during our Canada trip. The place is so incredibly cosy and everything in the room is arranged with love and care and a great sense of what makes people feel at home. And then Molly and CJ go above and beyond to make sure you have a good time and see the best of Ucluelet (thanks to CJ we were able to see a black bear and Molly helped me on my search for a certain decorative item). We are Team Uccy all the way now and we hope to come back one day! 100% recommendation!

Everything was perfect. There were additional things supplied that were unexpected and fantastic: A small refrigerator; umbrellas; fold out tables; wine glasses; bath salts. Superb !
