Quality bed, furniture, bedlinen and bathroom with very comfortable bed and sofa. Fridge, kettle and sink allowed us to have breakfasts/evening drinks on the patio. In quiet part of Ucluelet overlooking small estuary with Eagles, Herons, Deer and very tranquil picturesque setting. Josie and Justin onsite were really helpful with fast responses to any questions - Megan's booking communication very professional. Would definitely stay again.

Lovely view in a quiet setting. Nice sized room and comfortable bed. Great to have a fridge and microwave and a set plates mugs and cutlery. Very clean and the basket of snacks and water provided were much appreciated. We saw deer and watched a raccoon along the waters edge on the opposite side of the river. Enjoyed sitting on the patio chairs in the evening chilling out after a busy day walking. There’s a shared sauna for guests to use too which was a nice bonus.

Very clean, extremely comfortable modern room with excellent facilities in an idyllic peaceful location. We were sad to leave and move on. Generous snacks in the room.

Everything! The place was amazing, loved the sauna, Jason came to say hi which was really very nice of him. Everything was clean and to a high standard. Saw lots of wildlife from our window (no bears but I am happy with that!)

“Lovely Stay and loved the sauna!”

Really gorgeous little guest house with 3 suites on the lower half of the house. We stayed in unit 3 right next to the sauna which was perfect. We loved using the cedar barrel sauna that had a gorgeous view of the estuary in front. We saw deer walking by. The room was super clean with a great layout, comfy bed and nice linens and even lovely soft robes. The snack pack was a lovely bonus. Would stay here again for sure!

We really enjoyed our stay here. The sauna was delightful with a view of the estuary and forest. Our suite was nicely decorated and super clean! It was a calm, quiet space with a beautiful view, and the caretaker, Josie, was lovely and very helpful. We appreciated the kitchenette and it was well-provisioned with appliances and dishes. We would definitely recommend staying here.

Very nice complimentary snack pack. Sauna was lovely. Scenery was beautiful and it was interesting that the “pond” out front came & went with the tide. Host was very pleasant and even brought us ice cubes as requested.

We loved the Kingfisher Suite. The attention to detail was incredible... from the welcome basket to the kitchenette/ coffee station. The room is decorated so beautifully...you feel like you're at a spa. We wish we could have stayed longer. The breakfast suggestion of Heartwood Kitchen was fabulous. We really enjoyed ourselves, thanks so much!

“Excellent place to stay”

We loved the room. The room was on bottom floor, so no stairs. We were next to the sauna which we used several times during the weekend and had it all to ourselves each time even though the place was sold out. We had a beautiful view of the estuary. The staff were excellent and promptly replied to my messages if any issues arise.

The suite was very clean & well stocked. The sauna was fantastic, just right for a couple. The B&B is located next to a beautiful estuary.

It is such a gorgeous location! Spotlessly clean, comfortable and the sauna instructions were great. It is a lovely spot to unwind and relax. Could have stayed for another week and would happily book again.
