“Great location but simple lodging.”

The location is excellent. Very close to picturesque small beaches. And unfortunately the description didn’t mention but it is just a few minutes drive away from the Altemira caves museum. Staff making breakfast was kind ( but the bfast itself is just ok)

We were able to check in late which was good for us since we arrived late to Santander. The hosts were very kind and helpful. The place was very Homely.

Staff not very helpful, room with terrace but run down chairs and no table to sit out. A lovely small town but the hotel is right next to a farm and the overall farm smell is very strong.

“Go stay at Hostería Fimar instead of this place.”

We ended up not staying here, and instead booked another location down the road. Posada Mediavia was filled with flies and was downwind of a barn and junkyard. The pregnant wife was nauseated by the smell so we left and booked a place down the street for the night -- "Hostería Fimar" was a great place to stay; the price was lower, the room larger, the staff more present and very kind. Plus their restaurant was exceptional in quality and price.

Nice enough place to spend a night. It's fairly basic, but this is reflected in the price. The room was a good size, and the bed was fine. The natural surroundings are very beautiful, and there are a few nice places you can drive to.

It was very quiet, even though 1 night it was full, the owner was very helpful and the breakfast was superb and plentiful.

“Easy driving to scenic beaches”

Very easy to get to Santander and beautiful beaches. Homemade cakes for breakfast were outstanding.
