“A hotel to remember”

I have a wonderful stay at Seegarten. I love everything about this family-run hotel: the genuine friendliness and warmth from all the owners and staff, the traditional style of the building -I was told that goes back to the 17 century., the location by the gorgeous lake... As the breakfast was not included in the deal I tried it the first day but it was so varied and in generous portions that I had it every day. They have a choice menu which you have to tick for the next day, you can tick all the choices at not extra charge. The staff still asks if you want more! The hotel has a cosy restaurant with wooden panel walls and a terrace, which was always busy with local residents; that to me is a clear indication that the food has to be good. So I had dinner there on my last day and boy, wasn't it superb?. The chicken roulade and apple tart were top cuisine, it could put to shame some of the upmarket restaurants in any city. I do recommend the lovely local wine -the area has a well developed wine industry. A five stars experience all around, and I shall return.

“A welcoming retreat with excellent staff”

The location of this property was excellent - 10min walk from the train station and right on the lake. The views of the lake from the room were amazing, I often sat in my room reading a book and staring out of the window for hours. The Staff were absolutely incredible - so friendly, welcoming and always smiling. I’ve travelled throughout Europe and the staff at this hotel were the best I’ve come across, a real credit to the hotel which creates a wonderful atmosphere. I don’t speak German but they went above and beyond to ask if I needed any help with anything. Leaving this hotel I felt refreshed, happy and eager to return at some point in the future.

Absolutely stunning view from the room. Great outdoor dining area, right at the esplanade, perfect for a solo traveller. There is always something to see, being in the heart of the city. The food was good and the staff was exceptional. In my travels,I have rarely come across more helpful, competent and kind staff. I will definitely come back.

The staff was kind. 　when I ask questions to staff , they respond with a smile. Location is good. 　I could see Bodensee from window. 　if you would like to walk near Bodensee, it is easy access. The breakfast is good. 　You can choose any type.

Even though it was confussin with the check in time, as we came in a rush a male receptionist was really friendly and welcoming, he sounded as he would have waited longer for us in casw we came late. The morning next day I was craving a coffee and I had a really really nice latte macciato with the best morning views... for free ! I aswed twice about the price because you pay extra for breakfast but they didn't charge it! The staff was lovely all the time and the views just amazing! And it's cheap if you compare it to other Hotels! I will deff book there again!

Upon arrival, the room was really clean and we had a very fast check-in process. We really loved the location of the hotel as it was near to the tourist attractions. The view from our room was excellent as well.
