The breakfast service was only from 09:00 to 10:00 and there was only one waitress on duty. So, if you arrive at exactly 09:00 (like everyone else) then you are likely to find a stressed waitress and a 30-minute wait. However, if you chat to the waitress, and subsequently arrive at 09:30 then you will likely get (as we did) excellent service with no wait time.

“Faded, slightly tacky old mansion”

This little 9-room hotel is in an old palace for minor nobility in a great but hard-to-find location in the old city center of Ubeda. It is charming but faded around the edges: plastic flowers in the vases, tile floors with faded painted-on imitation carpets, dust on some of the beautiful antique furniture and objets d'art. The elevator worked fine., Beds are immense and reasonably comfortable, would sleep at least four. Staff was friendly and helpful.

Location was great and our room was quiet. The bed was enormous and it was rather nice to have bathrobes and slippers.

Quirky, quint, charming. Old but interesting furniture. Huge bed. Large and well equipped bathroom. Friendly staff. Good heating (it was only 5 degrees on one day we were there in March, 20 degrees the following day!). Good breakfast.

Stunning decor, a beautiful room with wonderful decoration.. It felt a real luxury staying here (except the toilet see below!) 4 poster bed, with the wooden beams above, and elegant haberdashery. We were able to pay extra and have breakfast which we hadn't booked. The facilities were good, coffee machine and fridge in the rooms. The accommodation is right in the heart of Ubeda which we loved, we found parking very close by and free, and loved wandering the streets and seeing the glorious architecture around. It was a very quiet town which were enjoyed as a break from Granada and Seville.

For a 3 star hotel it was excellent - comfortable quiet room, comfortable bed and good bathroom - it was easy to access by car and there were a couple of parking spaces outside the hotel entrance (probably more likely in October than peak season) - there is a great local bar/restaurant outside hotel which is open in daytime and closed at night so the little square outside hotel is v quiet at night

Location of hotel. Hotel rooms were spacious, well equipped, clean, and look regal. Cheap breakfast available, and breakfast has many options to choose from. Staff are so friendly. As I didn't understand Spanish enough we communicated using Google Translate, and they were more than happy to help once the language barrier could be overcome this way.

The location was good and central to historic centre. Our room was very pretty, with a huge comfortable bed. The breakfast was continental with lovely fresh tostada, fresh orange juice (which is rare)! Tasty coffee too!

Absolutely loved this place, so quirky! Room was large and bed was gigantic. Beautifully decorated with an eclectic collection of decor that had us in awe. Breakfast was served in a small traditional dining area that was again decorated with lots of things to draw your attention. Staff were so friendly and the location was handy for all you could need
