Overview
Set in a 25-acre piece of land, Hunters Lodge offers accommodation in Twaandu, 160 km from Nairobi. Guests are welcome to make use of the free private parking onsite as well as free WiFi available throughout the property. All rooms at the lodge come equipped with a flat screen TV, tea & coffee station, mounted fan and safe. The private bathroom is fitted with a shower with toiletries and a hairdryer. Guests can enjoy views of the garden, pool or Kiboko Springs from the room. The property specializes in international and local cuisines that are served in an a la carte or buffet style. Guests are welcome to enjoy a meal at the seating area overlooking the Kiboko Springs or at the coffee shop. “Perfect roadside stop off, exceeded expectations.”
It was such a comfortable, well-appointed roadside hotel! Much better than I expected. The rooms were super clean, spacious and comfortable, dinner was great and staff chatty and helpful.

Very convenient as a night stop from Kilifi to Nairobi. Àn ideal stop, the food was very good, could have a yogurt option on the breakfast menu, mainly pastries and bread, so if you are gluten intolerant, a bit difficult. However we had a delicious massage omelette and fruit.

“Just what to you need to break the journey, but not a destination hotel.”
Friendly staff, efficient service and decent food. Breakfast was surprisingly good. Good location for a ‘motel’ style stop over on a journey along the Mombasa road. The pool looked great but we did not have time to use it
