The pension Zum Sepp is very conveniently located in Madseit about 2 km (about 5 min by car or local bus) from the Gletscherbus 1 cable car station and almost 25 min by local bus from Finkenberg. The property is situated on the left side of the road to Hintertux and there is a bus stop in a distance of only 50 m from the pension. This is very important for skiers - they do not need to walk a long distance in search of a bus stop. I think there are five rooms inside. Mine (room number 2) was very cosy, spacious, warm and with a big terrace with a great view on the Hintertux Glacier. I did really enjoy my stay in Zum Sepp as the staff was very kind, friendly, helpful and definitely oriented on guests' satisfaction. Jan, the owner of the pension, does his best to make you feel like at home and his collegue Pavel meets the definition of the ideal waiter :). Moreover, staying in Zum Sepp you can enjoy a very broad variety of both Czech dishes and international cuisine as there is a very good restaurant downstairs. The cooks do an excellent job - the dishes prepared by them are very delicious!!! You can eat there even if you stay somewhere else. In my case breakfasts and dinners were included in the accommodation fee (half pension option). I had never stayed in the hotel or pension in which the staff was as engaged and motivated as Jan and Pavel. Although I was only one of the guests staying in the pension, due to a great atmosphere created by Jan and Pavel I felt like somebody very special there!!! There is a car park in front of the pension (it is located between the property and the road) and it can accommodate about seven cars. What is very important for those that arrive to the Zillertal Valley to enjoy skiing or snowboarding, there is a ski room in the basement and ski equipment can be dried there after skiing.
