Overview
Enjoying a sunny location in the Tux Valley, family-run Pension Sonnleiten is only 300 metres from the Eggalm cable car. A ski-boot drying room is available on site. The Sonnleiten restaurant serves Austrian specialities and international cuisine. Guests can also savour a glass of fine wine at the bar. In summer, guests can enjoy the hearty complimentary breakfast on the terrace, which boasts fantastic views of the Hintertux Glacier. A sun bathing lawn invites guests to relax. Get active at the tennis court or go horseback riding in the immediate vicinity. The hotel next door offers use of the extensive spa area, featuring hot tubs, steam baths, saunas, adventure pools and much more, at a reduced fee for Sonnleiten guests. All-day child care as well as a 1.000 m² indoor play area with slides, climbing walls and an entertainment program for children is also available. The Hintertux cable car can be reached within 6 km from the Pension Sonnleiten. A ski lift for beginners is only 50 metres from the property. The free ski bus stops 150 metres away. Free parking is available on site.

Super friendly staff, good value for money. I really enjoyed my stay there. If you're skiing nearby you can even get your ski pass through the hotel.

Super cool pension, very helpful and friendly owner and all the staff, excellent cuisine. Buffet breakfast, all food was fresh and of great quality. Also the dinner was great, all meal very tasty. The pension is very clean. Possibility of playing table tennis or darts for free was great bonus. The facility is located in walking distance from the sport bus which takes you to Hintertux glacier or Eggalm for free. I absolutely recommend this place! Thanks for all the care!

Excellent food, both breakfast and dinner. Helpfull owner trying to satisfy also a vegetarian guest. Very comfortable room, clean with lots of storage space.

Everything was great, very friendly and helpful staff. We got the menu dinner without pre-ordering and arriving almost too late. Kitchen is really very good, and the esspreso was probably the best I had in Austria
