We booked this at the last minute so the location was perfect for where we were at that time. The room was lovely, with everything you could need. Nice quiet location with lovely gardens to sit out in.

Charming guest house set in beautiful gardens setting and great birds. Staff were very attentive and friendly. Good old-fashioned hospitality. Very good evening meal and likewise breakfast the following morning. Very glad to have done the coffee tour with Andrew- a great insight into the history of the farm, the coffee industry and the local towns people supporting the mill. We were sorry not to have had more time there, as it seems there is a lot to explore in the area. Would gladly return.

beautiful location, great house with history (oldest coffee plantation), great and interesting coffee tour (2h), delicious dinner and rich breakfast (typical Costa Rican food), friendly personal. Some Spanish knowledge is helpful though. We stayed here before going to the airport (2.5 - 3h drive due to heavy traffic), and it was a highlight for the last night in Costa Rica.

Beautiful old building, well maintained and transformed to host a small number of guests. The garden and the view from it are amazing (Turialba volcano, village of Aquiares, valley). The host and the staff are very friendly and welcoming. The food is authentic, delicious and freshly prepared, and it was served in the garden. Our room was very spacious, comfortable and clean.

Places like this are very rare. Super friendly and welcoming people which will take care of you same way your grandmother did plus they produce probably one of the best coffee in the world. You will be staying in one of the rooms of an old and beautifully equipped house with large garden where coffee is served. It is a hidden gem.

It is an incredible experience to stay in the coffee farm. The house is quite old, but very nice and well maintained. The garden is expectacular and you can see a lot of birds and active volcano! The real surprise here was all the staff. We had never experienced so much care. Just before arrival we both got sick and they were really taking care of us, not only preparing special food and teas, but also adjusting the trips.
