I really enjoyed the uniqueness of this property. From the location, the garden, the views, incredibly friendly hosts, the cosy room, the remoteness. My partner and I cycled from Motril so we were rather tired, and this place brought a big smile to our face. The bed was very comfortable and it was so silent through the night. We look forward to coming back in the warmer months.

We had an absolutely magical stay in this beautiful, peaceful place, perfectly located with stunning panoramic views of the Sierra Nevada. The welcome was exceptional — the hosts are a lovely couple, incredibly kind and thoughtful, and their little dog made the experience even warmer and more charming. The jacuzzi with a view was amazing both during the day and under the stars at night — I even saw several shooting stars, an unforgettable moment. The outdoor space is very pleasant and well designed, with a convenient and enjoyable outdoor kitchen. The accommodation is beautifully decorated, the bed is extremely comfortable, and the peaceful surroundings offer perfect rest and relaxation. Despite the July heat, the climate here is very pleasant, thanks to the altitude and many shaded areas — you hardly feel the heat at all. This is the perfect place to unwind, enjoy nature, and disconnect from everyday life. I would return in a heartbeat!

Mark and Danielle are just fantastic, very helpfull and hospitable. Great house and our super clean room was very cosy with a good bed. I reccomend it!!!

“Heaven on earth!”

This place is the best! The location is very quiet, the views are stunning, the surroundings are magnificent, you can see millions of stars at night, there are a lot of great things to see and do in this region ..... We had breakfast and dinner every day, and the food was really fantastic and very great value. The room was very beautiful. The whole property was a real gem. But the place is extra special because of the owners Jane and Philippe. They were the perfect hosts for us. We had such a lovely four days with them that we didn't want to leave. What an inspiring and warm couple!! We hope to see each other again in the future, at the Cortijo or at another place in the world. Thank you to make our stay so memorable.

Location, location, location! Fabulous traditional Cortijo in beautiful tranquil mountain top countryside. A perfect place to escape from the hustle and bustle of the world and just relax and enjoy the stunning views. Dinner and Breakfast were both fantastic and the owners are lovely people who go out of their way to make your stay as perfect as possible. Thank you!

Far from city crowd, it is free from light pollution. it basically sits in the lap of nature. On one side, you have Sierra nevada mountains view and the other, sea. The shared kitchen as well as dining table is under the stars, in open air. You can sit between fig and almond trees. You see milky way Galaxy above your head. The host, Phillipe renovated this beautiful place himself. He is very kind and friendly.
