Exceptional, extravagant, unique. Perfect location and easy parking (15 Euro p/night) too. We loved it.

This hotel was unusual. It is a family run hotel in an old property. As such, it is friendly and homely. The staff are friendly and helpful. Sometimes you may see the owner at the reception desk. It is decorated with items the owner has collected over the years. The bedroom was on the small side but we knew this when booking. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom contained a bath! It was clean but like old places, it needed some work.Breakfast was good and varied. It was not like some of the negative reviewers found it e.g. it's not in the to 7middle of the red light district!

A very comfortable hotel, relaxing, good buffet breakfast, spacious room. A bit out of the centre, but hence a quiet location. Everything I needed. Definitely recommend.

This is a quirky family owned small hotel, perfect for those looking for something else than your standard chain hotel. Built in 1902 as a family home, and converted to a hotel in the 80s. The building, interior and eccentric decor appear as from 100 years ago. Thanks to extensive renovations, everything works well, and all the mod cons are there. The staff is very professional and friendly, and breakfast is delicious. And the quiet location is perfect for exploring Turku by foot.

The hotel had an old-fashioned homely feel about it, bric-a-brac everywhere, pictures, decorations etc so different from modern concrete boxes. Even the bedrooms were individual and fuĺ of interesting objects. Upstairs there was a lounge with sofas, books, a big stove, a billiard table.
