8.5/10 or 4/5 is fair. The price is exceptional. I stayed 5 nights and booked the attic room which contained a double bed, AC, desk, chair and ensuite which was well kept and there was always hot water available. The place was clean. My rating is solely based on the price, however, as every good review must account for, though personally, I wouldn't stay again. Firstly, if there is a fire on the ground floor, you cease to exist if on the top as the attic windows are too narrow to escape through and the other guest doors would likely be locked in such a scenario. This is surely not up to fire regulations? Other than this (and these are small points), the towel smelt bad and checkout was 10:00am, and I couldn't unlock the door on two occasions (though when the owner showed me how it unlocked thereafter it wasn't as it was previously...). The location isn't good at all and the place is about as aesthetically unpleasant as it gets, however there was complimentary water available, the owner was nice enough and spoke a little English, and importantly, the price value ratio is exceptional!

The owner is nice and helpful and he took us on a tour to otrar and the Arystanbab Mausoleum for around 12000. The room also has aircon which was great.

“Very good value for money”

The room is very cozy with plenty of air conditioning. The host is very friendly and ready to help at any time, he gave us a very good price for his taxi to the ancient town of Otrar and Sairam. The house is next to a playground so kinda vibrant. It is close to the main road and good restaurants.

Low price. Kind receptionist. Room was quite large and had airconditioning, which is needed in Turkistan. Wifi works. Friendly residential location with 2 minimarkets close by. Attractions are further away, but easy to reach with public transit or Yandex Go. There's a local market closeby which is recommended, very local and authentic experience, we liked it better than the polished attractions of modern Turkistan.

The receptionist is a very nice man he helped us with everything and he even did a city tour with his own car and took us the day after to farab which is one hour far from the city . We took the double bed room and it was comfortable .

Great location, everything is pretty close from the house - train station and major attractions of the city. My room was bigger than I expected with good natural lighting when the blinds were open. Staff was very helpful and accommodative if you need advise or help (using Google translate only)

Comfortable and clean room in a decent location, I stopped over for one night and for a small fee the kind owner picked me up from the train station and dropped me off the next day. There are no cooking facilities but there is a microwave and kettle on the ground floor.

“Great Location, Super Cute, Affordable, Clean & Comfortable”

This is one of the loveliest hotels I have ever been fortunate enough to visit. I felt welcome from the moment I arrived. The owner spoke excellent English and both he and the receptionist were so helpful and friendly. İt's in a great location close to public transport and just a few minutes by bus to the spectacular tourist area. I would highly recommend Ecopana for anyone visiting beautiful Turkistan.

Everything. A superb small place, very comfortable, with excellent service. The location is just another residential neighbourhood, but it has good bus connections with the historical centre and the railway station, with the market within walking distance.

Good property and the owner is a very nice guy. I asked him if he could book me a taxi to the mausoleum but he drove me there instead.

Mr Altai of Ecopana is a marvelous person. He offered local fruits khurma to taste and also he offered to drove us to the station while leaving. His caring gesture was unforgettable. Would love to stay again. We recommend to stay in Ecopana. Location and room both were great .
