Housed in the historic building, Torretta Palace Hotel in located right in the centre of Turanj, only 70 metres from a pebbly beach. We may have been the only guests, but the receptionist and the kitchen chef were incredibly warm and welcoming. They prepared a wonderful fresh breakfast with a great variety of food, including eggs, pastries, cereals, fruits, and salami. The room was spacious, with a large bathroom and a bathtub. The bed was big and extremely comfortable. We highly recommend this gorgeous little hotel.

“Beautiful hotel, unforgettable stay”
This hotel is at the very center of Turanj, has its own parking and swimming deck (away from busy beaches) with free deck chairs, right across the small road. The beaches, bars and restaurants are all very close as this is a small town, you literally feel like you're in a resort. No traffic allowed after 6pm. We also took advantage of their swimming pool which was tucked in nicely at the back of the hotel - very private area :) Apparently, there will soon be a bar and some special accommodation there too - the work was at the finishing stages when we were there. Breakfast at the hotel was small and intimate with an AMAZING choice. Been to many hotels and this one definitely made an impression - apart from the usual (ham, cheese, cereal, croissants, eggs etc.) they also had cheesecakes, home made anchovies, the best juices - 100% juice, not the cheap sugary kind, free coffee of your choice made fresh for you, just like in a coffee shop... Room was spacious, bathroom was very big...BEAUTIFUL decor throughout the hotel! The owner has a great taste :) There was a terrace at the front of the hotel, where you could eat breakfast, have drinks etc. They also have their own restaurant just few steps away (we didn't eat there but it was always full!), and a fast food place - great value for money. Chicken salad was very nice and fresh! The owner of Torretta was a very friendly guy - showed us around the hotel and the new, upcoming, features. :) All staff were VERY welcoming and helpful! Overall - a place I won't forget easily :) We had a fab holiday and will be back again, for sure.

“Disappointing experience”

“Not what we booked”
we booked two rooms - one for the kids, and one for us. on booking.com, we specified that these rooms should be next to each other. they were, however, not even in the same building. the hotel should have informed us of this _before_ we arrived, or even before confirming the booking.,

We arrived in the early hours and were kindly greeted and shown to our room. The room was very clean, and the beds were very comfortable. I was a bit sad we only stayed 1 night as a stop off due to the late flight.The room overlooked the marina, and the views are stunning on both sides. I would highly recommend a stay here. We would definitely come back for a bit longer. Breakfast was a continental buffet style with lots of options.

“Awesome stay!”
Excellent staff! Not everything was perfect, some mistakes happened but everThing was always sorted quickly and up to our wishes and expectations. Everyone is really helpful and friendly. Also the hotel is very nice - clean, new. Beautiful design, big roons. Breakfasts are awesome. Nice selection of fresh products, fruits, veggies and starting day with nice glass of prosecco… You need no more!

What can I say- It’s perfectly situated and ticked every box for us so much so we booked back in for a few more days The hotel staff were lovely and friendly and went out of their way to secure us an extra booking We will 100% be coming back to stay it was bliss!
