Lovely place. It's clean, tidy, the pool is surrounded by 100-year-old olive trees, location good for discovering both - Umbria and Toscana. The host is very hospitable and friendly. We will definitely come back with our family next year. I recommend it for a quiet family vacation.

This is a wonderful quiet place with beutiful gardens which are immaculatly kept by the very friendly owner. The rooms are very well kept and we arrived to a complementary bottle of wine and other goodies. If your from UK or Ireland then there is just 1 channel on the TV but its such a pretty town why would you be stuck infront of a TV. There are 2 decent grocery stores nearby and some wonderful restaurants and bars. The best part is its still not too touristy.

“Excellent and cozy place for a stay/vacation in Umbria”

Andrea is a very hospitable and friendly host, we had excellent communication before and during our stay in Il Porto. He is there every day and ready to help with everything. The apartment is large and cozy - a large fully equipped kitchen, 2 large bedrooms, 2 huge bathrooms (one with a bathtub), one small bedroom for one kid/adult (without window), and a living room with kamin. High ceilings. Good mattresses, pillows, linen. A lot of spare blankets/pillows in closets. A lot of different glasses, mugs, dishes, etc. All is clean and ready to use. Strengh WiFi signal. Private parking is located in the courtyard, actually, in the garden between olives and plum trees. (the entry is a bit tight, and can be difficult for very large cars and/or inexperienced drivers) A pool with sun beds in front of the building (unfortunately, was not actual for us at the end of September). A gazebo with a table and chairs in the garden. Grill. There were also guests in other apartments, but we did not hear them. So we really enjoyed our stay in Il Porto, Andrea, thank you a lot.

The apartment was spacious and had all the things we needed such as iron, access to a washing machine etc. Andrea was very friendly and worked hard to keep the outside areas looking very tidy.

“A hidden gem, perfect host and amazing apartment”

A little gem in a hidden location in Tuoro Sul Trasimeno. Was there for a wedding in nearby Villa Baroncino. Andrea was the perfect host providing us with information re tours and directions. The apartment was spotlessly clean and had everything that you needed from kitchen amenities to toiletries. Laundry room on site with everything provided. Lovely pool area with BBQ. Very peaceful and quiet location like home from home. Parking facilities available. A short 10 minute walk with a small hill to the village of Tuoro Sul Trasimeno which had fabulous views over Lake Trasimeno, a few bars restaurants and a fab take away pizzeria and some small shops.

The location near the Trasimeno lake is beautiful. The town is very well connected to other places to visit.

Clean, spacious, very well looked after. The area is nice and quiet.The host is super friendly and helpful. There is ample parking and facilities around within a couple of km.
