“Irresponsible owners, anxiety induced and great wine”

This has been one of the most ambivalent places I have ever visited on vacation. It was beautiful as on the pictures, but the place is so poorly managed that it lead to a lot of anxiety during my stay there. You should know: 1) The place only accepts cash as payment!!!! The owners will NOT TELL YOU - it’s your responsibility to figure this out (or ask)!!!! The owners were completely helpless, when I discovered this (the day before I had to check out at 19). - So I had to stay one extra night, so that I could have a day to get the money to pay for my nights there. The owners did not have any other way for me to pay. Which is nuts, considering I put in my card on booking when i reserved it. - I consider this conduct a 15-20 pct. increase in the price, as most banks in Argentina require a high fee to get cash (especially as a foreigner)! In the city there was only one bank that allowed me to withdraw money! This conduct is so insanely nuts in a country that has so many issues with money, that it breaks all barriers. Fair enough, that a hostel (that costs 10 dollars) require cash payment. But a “hotel”, which is expensive? This is not acceptable! And to add to the insanity, when I checked out, the owner complained about having to count the cash - that’s your choice!! I mean, I’m chocked! 😳 2) It’s extremely difficult to get to the place unless you have a car! Most of the taxis takes extremely high payment to get out to the place. And the owners does NOT provide any form off assistance in negotiating or that kind off thing. 3) although it’s probably an unpopular opinion I don’t like to be chased by dogs all day long! The place has 4 dogs that are extremely aggressive (and licky). They are all over you, as soon as you are out of the house or come back. The only free place is at the swimming pool, because you can’t sit alone on your porch, as they will come and start licking or eating your stuff/snacks.
