I received a confirmation. On my way to the hotel, 8 caled the hotel as mentioned and the guy on the phone informed me that my booking was canceled without informing me, No even an explanation He also told me to cancel my reservation on booking.com or I would be charged. Was not friendly

Review for Les Jardins du Lac 2 – Serious Warning I strongly advise other travelers to be extremely cautious with this property. I booked this accommodation in January and contacted the owner to confirm my late afternoon arrival and to verify the address shown on my Booking.com confirmation. My message was ignored. When I eventually called him, he seemed unsure and said he would “get back to me.” An hour later, he sent me a completely different address — far away from the one advertised on Booking.com. This is a major red flag. Changing the property location after a booking is unacceptable and highly concerning. It raises serious questions about whether the listing is accurate or if this is a bait-and-switch situation. The lack of communication, the address discrepancy, and the unprofessional handling of the situation made me feel uncomfortable and unsafe. For these reasons, I cancelled my booking. Travelers rely on accurate listings and honest communication. Based on my experience, I would not trust this host and cannot recommend this property.

“Avoid at all costs”
The host was unresponsive when I arrived at the property, and refused to take my calls. Had to find a local person who was very kind to help call the host on my behalf. The host asked for my name and confirmation number, then told me to wait. I waited there on the street for about 30 minutes in total, only for him to tell me property was not available. He tried to gaslight me into thinking he did not confirm my booking, and decided to leave it at that, the implication being I can deal with it. I ended up cancelling last minute. The host of this place is very unprofessional and should not be on booking.com with this attitude.

I stayed for 3 nights and everything was excellent. The service was great, the host responded quickly, and the treatment was wonderful. I was even allowed to check out late without any extra fees. The place was quiet, with a parking spot and a peaceful location. Highly recommended!
