“Delightful.”
What a delightful cottage in Tumut. It had the most comfortable bed I've ever slept on. The kids loved having their own rooms, and we really enjoyed sitting in the morning sun while having a cup of tea and watching the world pass by. We'll definitely stay again next time we're in Tumut.

We had a wonderful stay at Herbert cottage. It is beautifully renovated and in a convenient and peaceful location. It has the charm of an old cottage with all the modern day comforts you need to make for a very relaxing stay. The place was immaculately clean, all furniture and appliances are in excellent condition. The beds were comfortable with luxurious bed linen. Max and Shell have included absolutely everything you would need during your stay and created a very comfortable space. We’d love to stay here again and would definitely recommend staying at Herbert Cottage.

The house looks newly renovated. It’s really lovely and homely. The decor is beautiful and suits the area and I would have stayed longer if I could. Everything you need is there. What a beautiful cottage. Hope we can return soon.

Max & Shell really made our stay exceptionally well. The minute attention to details was amazing. They have a lovely home and we as a family really enjoyed the stay to the max. If 100 was full marks they definitely scored 200% . I couldn't think of anything better to stay at Tumut. Thanks to max & Shell for sharing their house for such memories for families to come.
