location was great, enclosed yard for our dog to run around in was amazing, on-site Tesla chargers, beautiful walks and babbling streams that you can hear from the deck. Sublime.

Yellowbox Cottage was perfect for our overdue family catchup. The communication from Deb was excellent. The directions to the property were easy to follow. A very lovely location overlooking the river and we enjoyed the sunrises and sunsets. Uninterrupted view of the night sky and the brilliant stars which cannot be experienced in the city. Only a short drive to Tumut for cafes, pubs and shopping if required.

“A perfect farm getaway”

Everything was just perfect . Cottage is clean and tidy with all the equipment required. Farm is well maintained with a lot of interesting sculptures, excess to river banks, log fire places and wood required. It's clear that a lot of care and love goes into maintaining the farm. The owners are warm, careful and incredibly thoughtful, always making sure we were comfortable.

Me and my friends stayed in a Yellow box cottage . I liked the property because it was exactly as described in the listing—clean, cozy, and thoughtfully decorated. The host was very responsive which made everything smooth. I especially appreciated the little touches like a well-stocked kitchen , complete utensils and the views where I’m really inlove with. It really felt like a comfortable and welcoming home away from home.”

The property was beautiful. Amazing views, riverside, with sheep, cows, wombats, and platypus (if you're lucky enough to spot one), all around. The house was very nice too. Clean, tidy, spacious, and had all the appliances and utensils that you could need. There's a BBQ but also spots for a fire and some marsh mallows. The hosts were super friendly and helpful but also left us to our own devices. They even let the kids pat the cows. We stayed there in winter as a base for our snow trip (Mount Selwyn), which was about 45-60 mins away but a nice drive. Some nice views and wildlife along the way. However, we hear it's worth staying here during any season. Overall, it was an amazing place to stay.

Amazing property. The staff were welcoming and had prepared everything when we arrived. The accomodation was clean and had everything you could need. And the views wow they were amazing. I could have stayed for a month.

“Relaxing weekend away in beautiful surroundings”

Stayed 3 nights at Blue Gum cottage. Stunning views of the countryside especially from the kitchen. Wet and rainy weekend but had a lovely quiet and relaxing time and visited family nearby. Great location not far from Tumut. Lots of wildlife; birds, wombats, cows and sheep. Cosy and comfortable. Good beds with electric blankets. Has everything you might need. Friendly and welcoming host. Highly recommend.

The location was amazing, the Little river right down the end of the garden and easily accessible There was disabled access and facilities in the Yellow cottage where we stayed You could come and stay for a week and be in very tranquil surroundings, no need to go out from the property BBQ and all facilities that you would need. Would be a great spot if you also had multiple families staying as there were a variety of cottages available Loved the surrounding sculptures throughout the property

“Just Glorious”

Sitting on the verandah of River Gum, one of several cottages in the Elm Cottage complex, having a cup of tea in the early morning, sun rising behind me, and the river Goobagandra flowing peacefully below. Four blue wrens twitter and fly around below me, yellow tail cockatoos fly over and the kookaburras sing and laugh in the background. Cows and sheep wander around the paddock. We were a group of 5 adults with cousins catching up for a long weekend, just perfect for us. River Gum has three good size bedrooms with very comfortable beds. The kitchen is well equipped and a good quality gas BBQ is on the verandah. There is and AC unit but as the cottage is screened you get a lovely flow through breeze during the night even when the day is very hot. A perfect place to wake up in the morning.
