This is a really nice small hotel in a lovely quiet location very close to the centre of Tulum. Just walking distance from the bus station and the Main Street. Beautiful garden setting and Erica is a wonderful host. The room was perfec, just sorry we didn’t stay longer.

Everything perfect, walking distance to town and ADO,bikeable to the beach, good restaurants in walkable distance. Very very great owners. They provide you with all necessary information about Tulum and what to do. Next to a food court with one salsa night. That was amazing :-) Nice bungalows, super clean, best shower on earth, pool and surroundings super chic. Even better than the pictures :-)

Maybe I didn't pay attention when I booked but I certainly wasn't expecting the amazing cabana I was shown to. A lovely, spacious bedroom with air-con, ceiling fan and a huge bed. The en-suite bathroom was very well appointed, especially the rainfall shower which was fantastic. The best thing about Zamunda though is the host, Erica. Her WhatsApp messages are full of useful recommendations and in person she is very friendly and speaks great English.

Erica was super nice and helpfull. Location was great. The garden is amazing. Palma central (50m avay) was a plus for us, because food there is very good at good prices, music wasn't loud .

Erica’s communication was excellent and she booked us onto a fantastic tour. She has created a wonderful oasis at Zumunda and we loved watching the Yucatán Jays feeding in the morning and swimming after a day out whilst being watched imperiously by the cat.

Oasis next to Tulum's centre to slow down and relax. Stay here to escape the town's loud and noisy business. Rooms are superb (good beds, spacious bathroom, lots of additional small stuff like free purified water, free ear plugs, free mosquito repellent coils so you can sit outside, etc.). Staff is awesome, most precious one ist host Erica, she's from Italy. Long story short: perfetto! Gracias por todos!

“Amazing stay at Zamunda!”

Zamunda is a beautiful property, particularly the garden that is well-curated in every detail. We also used a lot its very nice swimming pool. Erica has been an amazing host, always available and sharing a lot of tips about the area.

Booked this one last minute and were only there for a night. Wish we could've stayed longer. The owners were so lovely, they went above and beyond. Location was perfect so close to lots of nice restaurants. Pool was very refreshing after a hot humid day.

Everything!! Erica is really welcoming, the place it is a joy, beautifull little jungle, very private, very comfortable. The location was perfect 10 minutes walking to main street. The little pool to refresh yourself after a hot day out, there is always drinking fresh water at the reception, and we loved the Gastronic place next door, there are some days with live bands, salsa class but the music did not bother us at all, If you close your windows it is all ok and the music stops maximum 11 pm. Thank you Erica, we would defo go back to Zamunda next time.
