Overview
Tubo Tulum Hostel boasts an original and eco-friendly concept of creating its facilities using large concrete tubes as chambers. The hostel is located in Tulum and offers free WiFi access. Both tents and tubes have double size mattress, and electricity, a bulb light plus a plugger. The shared bathrooms are fully equipped with several sinks and showers. Tubo Tulum Hostel is surrounded by a tropical garden and features a large kitchen that all guests can use to cook and prepare their meals. For supplies, guests can visit the large supermarket located 200 metres away. The property offers free parking and the beachfront is only 5 minutes' drive away. The hostel is 5 minutes' drive from Tulum Archeological Site, while ADO Bus Station is 2.1 km away. Cancún can be reached in 1 hour and 45 minutes by car.

Had an amazing stay! The staff were friendly and very helpful. Good location for walking to find food and bicycles for rent are a great deal. Very safe and comfortable stay.

Watch out when you book at this place. We ended up in a TENT, not in the tubes displayed in the pictures … There is free water available to drink in the kitchen and a fridge if you need. The wifi was perfectly working (in our tent).

The hosts made our stay perfect! The amount of recommendations and information is wonderful! I stayed in the room. The bed was huge and the aircon great. Bathrooms are tidy and sowers have their private toilet and sink. Breakfast is basic but with some eggs or avocado from Chedraui you can easily upgrade it yourself.

Everyone here are so friendly and very helpful with any questions you have, we quickly hired bikes from the hostel, cycling is a great way to get around Tulum. The hostel is a treasure and in my opinion should be utilised if you are on a budget. In the future it could be difficult to find gems like this one. Breakfast is decent, bring your own and cook it up if you like, or choose from the coffee and cereal etc on offer, there is a huge new supermarket minutes up the road where you can purchase anything you require. The guests and staff are very welcoming, if you are social you can hang out in the communal areas where there are sometimes gatherings and language and culture classes, or just swing the day away in a hammock!

“Highly recommend for backpack travellers !”
Looks exactly like the photos. The vibe of the hostel is incredible, everything is clean (including common areas, WC and showers). The staff is very friendly, big up to Richy who was the nicest, the best with his recommandations and good plans. The kitchen is big and functional, you can store your food in the fridge. The location is very good, although you need a bike or a scooter to visit Cancun (no uber). you can rent a bike at 150$ at the hostel. There’s a big supermarket nearby, the public beach is 15 min by bike, and Pueblo neighbourhood is 18 min walk.

“A welcoming retreat”
Lovely staff, all of them went out of their way to give me great advice. All so friendly. Bathrooms really clean. One of the only hostels with private rooms in the town was a nice touch and the dogs and cats are great to come back to
