“Very cozy hostel”

Inside the accommodation, they made a jungle vibe. A lot of places in the shade where you can chill. We haven’t used the pool, but we saw it was cleaned every day. The staff was super friendly and easygoing. It is a quiet hostel which was perfect for us.

Great hostel with lovely cats as pets. They have a bike-rent service for 24hrs that is really helpful. The rooms are good and the bathrooms are clean. Plus: they have a very good breakfast included

Maui Hostel was an experience out of the ordinary. All the many volunteers at the hostel created such a warm, family-like vibe that it instantly felt like home. Everyone was ready with great recommendations and ideas for what to see and do in Tulum. The free yoga twice a day and the option to rent bikes were huge bonuses. The rooftop gave us plenty of beautiful sunrise and sunset moments. All in all, a fantastic hostel in a safe and chill area with great facilities. Highly recommend!

Nothing really apart from the staff being very friendly and helpful and the fact that they offer free water in Tulum... which is a plus cause you need to pay for breathing ah!

The staff... I met members that are in a detox phase and you see the motivation of changing. Lovely integration

It felt like a hostel in the forest. The staff were very friendly, and the spacious kitchen made cooking easy. A cute dog and three cats live there. The beds have curtains, and the air conditioning is on briefly during the day, so the room is always cool and comfortable, making it a great place to relax during the day. There are also two fans. The hostel isn't close to the bus terminal, but they offer a 50 peso motorbike taxi. It's a great way to get to the beach or cenote. I stayed there for over 10 days, and it's a great place for a long-term stay Free water and coffee And there's a swimming pool

“Very badly organised”

The room and the beds were big. The hostel overall easy to reach from the main ADO bus station. Close by there was a nice area with restaurants and cafes.

Exceptional Stay – Truly a Hidden Gem in Tulum! 🌴🌟 I had an amazing time at Maui Hostel! From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel right at home. Everyone was super friendly, helpful, and full of great recommendations for exploring Tulum. The vibe is relaxed and social, perfect for meeting fellow travelers without feeling like a wild party hostel. The rooms and common areas were immaculately clean and well-maintained. The beds were super comfortable with privacy curtains and personal lockers – ideal for getting a good night's sleep. The air conditioning was a lifesaver after hot days out. What really sets Maui Hostel apart is the atmosphere – chill but fun. The rooftop is a perfect spot to unwind with a drink or catch sunset. They also offer bike rentals, which made it super easy to get to the beach and around town. I’ve stayed in hostels all over the world, and Maui is definitely one of my favorites. It has the perfect balance of comfort, community, and location. Can’t recommend it enough – wish I could’ve stayed longer!
