The staff here are genuinely warm and accommodating — from the restaurant to reception, everyone has a welcoming attitude that makes it easy to ask for things. Requests are handled without fuss. The beach club is refreshingly quiet with no music, which I appreciated. Food is delicious — both lunch and dinner are solid, and the pizza deserves a special mention. Overall, it’s a lovely calm retreat. Great location, and there’s a Matcha Mama nearby where you can grab coconut water (much better than what they serve on the beach) and other tasty bits.

Wonderful breakfast and food though the service was a little slow. My husband suggested I use it as a tool to bring my own internal pace down and chill! The views are superb Lovely hotel and surroundings. Hammocks, swings, sand and palm trees, a beautiful shala to practice yoga. Paradise!

Amazing location on the best part of Tulum beach (quiet zone 5 min walking from the party zone). The rooms are stunning and completely immersed in the nature. The breakfast and the food in general is so good!! Cannot recommend more! In my opinion the best in Tulum! Grazie mille a Giampiero and the staff !! They are all super nice and friendly

Relaxed atmosphere with super nice staff. The welcome of Marvin from the reception was amazing! Thank you for explaining everything thing in detail and being so attentive!

There was an awful smell of sewage around the property, and especially in our bathroom. Our room was also very damp as well as loud due to the noise from the generator. We couldn’t sleep at all and when we complained after the first night we were told we could move room, but to one without air conditioning. When we requested for some of our money to be refunded after a terrible experience we were refused. The sewage smell was so bad around the hotel that I actually vomited whilst waiting for our taxi. The whole experience could have been made better if the staff were at all apologetic or had tried to make up for the issues but they simply did not care. It’s a shame as we stayed here in 2015 and had a totally different experience but now we definitely would not go back.

Perfect place to stay, great staff who made us feel comfortable, delicious food, very beautiful, clean and the beach was stunning. Thank you for the unforgettable experience, I would recommend everyone to stay there.

The best part of this hotel is the restaurant. The breakfast is amazing and the pizza is one of the best in Tulum!

The beach is really beautiful and Violeta has its own private part of it, with sun beds assigned to each room. The place is small and quiet. The staff and management are really friendly and helpful. The food is fine.

Perfect, relaxed location for Tulum beach. Beautiful rooms + beach and relatively quiet. We stayed in Ixchel for 4 nights and really enjoyed everything. Gianpiero the manager was really helpful in accommodating our stay and the rest of the staff was very friendly. They serve really nice food at the restaurant and the atmosphere of the hotel is intimate.

Pretty close to everything, very natural feeling but if you can’t stand the heat too much you are kind of stuck because they don’t have airconditioning, but if that doesn’t face you, it’s a great spot to stay
