The location is ideal, very quiet and perfect to enjoy the beach. The concept of the room is very much worthed the experience, spacious, comfortable beds and amazing view both in the evening and morning. The staff is great, friendly and helpful. Food and drinks are high quality. The place has a bohemian and chill vibe unlike any other around.

We loved everything. The bubble, the service. All the facilities provided. Staff were very helpful for everything we needed. They gave us the necessary information about the area and how we could move around. We also had an issue with A/C on our room and they were very fast into fixing our stay.

“Perfect beach stay in Tulum”

The best hotel on our road trip around Yucatan - super unusual rooms-bubbles, great beach, relaxing vibe and amazing food at the restaurant on site. Walking distance to Tulum ruins which is an additional bonus.

Firstly, Armando at the front desk was SO friendly and helpful. He genuinely wanted to make our stay the best it could be and gave us lots of useful tips and guidance about the best places to visit, etc. The 'room' (or pod, or tent or bubble!) is amazing! Such a cool idea and it really is spacious and very well laid out. The shower is hot (but be prepared to leave the water running for up to 5 minutes (literally) before it gets hot. (Armando warned of this so not a problem). There's a good sized fridge and effective air conditioning, also beach towels were included for us. The beach is just a stone's throw away and has a selection of bars/restaurants to choose from. The restaurants were quiet in the evenings though so the atmosphere wasn't as vibrant as during the day. All in all we absolutely loved our stay at Astral Tulum. We wish we could have stayed longer!

The property is very unique, and it’s located inside a natural park, which makes the whole experience feel special and immersive. We really enjoyed our “bubble” accommodation — it was cozy, well-equipped, and gave us a private, peaceful feeling in the middle of nature. The beach area with the property’s sunbeds is absolutely stunning. It’s truly one of the most beautiful beaches in the world. There was some sargassum during our stay, but the reserve staff cleaned every day, leaving almost no trace in the water. The on-site restaurant has a small menu of typical dishes that were genuinely very good, and the restaurant staff were extremely kind, attentive, and friendly. Armando at reception was also very nice, welcoming, and friendly with us.

“Not recommended, definitely not value for money. Location is too far away to walk to anywhere.”

We were not given the correct picture at the time of making the booking. It was not mentioned anywhere that the capsules are pressurised and that there is a lot of noise all around, to maintain the bubble. The sound echos in the entire room and it is eerie. Additionally, there are no lights in the room, only two tiny portable lamps are provided, so the room is dark.

We stayed just one night after our flight into Cancun. An oasis of peace, beauty and kindness. Jorge was the perfect host; when we arrived a table was set up for us on the deck and we were served a lovely meal. The next morning he took us for a walk around the property which was really interesting. He looked after us well. Breakfast was delicious. Our room was clean luxurious and very private Lots of thoughtful things provided; water, coffee, toiletries and bathrobes. A beautiful place if you love nature and peace and quiet, but not for you if you want nightlife and shops and restaurants nearby. We loved it and wished we had booked another night. It's a good idea to plan your journey there to arrive before it gets dark, as otherwise it would be hard to find. You would also need an SUV. The directions we were sent in advance were really helpful. Thank you for a great stay.

“Delightful stay!”

The property itself was beautiful, the bubbles are gorgeous!! Nice and cool in the evening and kept as cool as possible during the day with the cover. Comfortable bed and good facilities, little refrigerator in the room and telescope! Location was great and the free electric buses to take you through the park were great.

“Disappointing Experience – Wouldn't Recommend”

Pros: Room: The room was clean. Location: The location within the park was nice. However, be aware that you have to pay to access the park (around $20 per person). Additionally, everything inside the park is highly overpriced, from restaurants to breakfast, making it a less affordable stay. So I recommend you to book a hotel with breakfast included.
