I am using this area and the next, to expose a problem with Booking.com and the hotels contact arrangements. Our UK mobiles were unable to connect with the internet at Tukwila Station, which was completely unstaffed around mid-day on the 5th Oct. The station has no taxi ranks and is in an area that few people frequent. We spent 45 minutes waiting for a kind member of the local public to assist by ringing a local taxi firm.

Our children are six, four, and two years old, so after a long flight, we were eager to quickly get to the hotel and go to sleep. However, the first delay happened with the shuttle service. When I booked it, I was told to exit the airport, call, and let them know our location, and the shuttle would pick us up. I followed the instructions—came out with the kids and called—but it turned out that we had to go to a specific spot, which wasn’t mentioned before. It took us a long time to find this spot. The hotel could have arranged for the shuttle to be there already, so we could just get in when we arrived. But no, I had to get there, call again, and then wait another 15-20 minutes for the shuttle to arrive. With three young kids, after thirty hours of flying, this was extremely difficult. When we finally arrived at the hotel, there was another delay. There were issues with the payment, as it went through a booking service, and the hotel couldn’t figure it out right away. I had to wait another 10-15 minutes for them to resolve the payment issue. Additionally, when we got to the room, there was no crib, which I had requested in advance. I had to go back to the front desk to get it. On top of that, I had to assemble the crib myself and make it up. As a result, instead of going to bed around 12:30 AM as planned, we didn’t get to sleep until almost 3:00 AM.

“Great Location, Wonderful Staff”

Breakfast was excellent. Great choices and attentive staff. The room was quiet, clean, and comfy. We needed the shuttle and that was a breeze. Picked us up at the car rental return and back to the hotel with no issues. Drivers were so friendly. Definitely would recommend this hotel to travelers coming to Seattle.

Fairly standard "chain" hotel. Everything was good. Staff were friendly/competent. Outside the downtown area, so a bit less expensive. Close to large shopping area with lots of eateries & stores. Amusement park next door, so would be great for kids.

The room was very clean, the beds were very comfortable and felt very welcoming. The options for breakfast were very nice as well. We enjoyed our stay so much that we actually canceled reservations with another property in August and will be coming back here instead.
