The apartment was excellent – very unique and interesting. It was a great experience to stay in a typical Canary-style house while visiting Fuerteventura. The owner was very kind and helpful throughout our stay. We highly recommend this place.

The host was lovely - kind and helpful. She’s been answering our additional questions quickly and politely- the contract with her was just perfect! The house itself is truly and beautifully old but at the same time well adjusted to present times, comfortable and cute. I cannot imagine a better place to stay.

“Fabulous converted store house”

Rural, clean, spacious, authentic. Bedroom was dark and comfortable, plenty of blankets if required. Extra bed in lounge area. Dining room table with kitchen, plenty of room for a family, kitchen had no oven (other than microwave) but enough utensils and stove to cook well. No washing machine in the property but owners did our laundry for us, and cleaning was free. Good towels and shower and plenty of toilet paper. Outside courtyard for drying clothes, outside table with a sort of private patio, shaded. There was a small pool, didn’t use it. Shared facility so not lots of space for 4 flats but weather wasn’t conducive for using the bbq or pool. Easy to find, communication was good, small supermarket round the corner and fabulous restaurant. Not much else walking distance (one panadería and a couple of local bars). We had bikes and plenty of room to store those. Motor vehicles there is plenty of space outside.

The house and sorrounding is very beautiful. We had a nice stay. We highly recommend.

Beautifully renovated spacious stone houses, in a small amd peaceful location.

The apartment was lovely, very clean and comfortable in a really central location for exploring the whole island. The staff on site were super friendly and helpful.

“Fantastic quiet stay”

High attention to details in furnishing and deco. The large private terrace with sunbeds and table (1st floor flat) is great for dining and basking in the sun. The host Doramas is lovely and easy to communicate with. Very clean throughout. Easily situated to reach the north and the south of the island, providing you have a car.

“Fantastic rural stay”

Such a wonderful stay!! The place is super clean, bed is unbelievably comfortable, the house is warm and cosy, while still feeling fresh. And for someone that struggles to sleep with the slightest light, it's so wonderfully dark! The rustic feel may not be for everyone but we absolutely loved it. Never got to use the little pool but it was a lovely addition. When we visit again, we will definitely stay here. Just perfect.

It was a very big apartment, well equipped and a very nice host. That helps you with any questions you have.

Wow! This was probably the best casa rural I have ever stayed in. The hosts were very friendly and the house itself is very old, still very comfortable. It was a great stay and next time when I will visit Fuerteventura I will stay here again, that's for sure!

Beautiful and authentically restored country house with four apartments, beautiful outdoor area & very cute cat in the garden. Easily accessible by bus, very quiet place and non-touristic area. Easy check-in, uncomplicated and friendly contact with the owners. I would love to come back. Thank you for the delicious homemade olive oil as a gift.

“Historical property in Tuineje - rare in Fuerteventura.”

Historical and rare property in Tuineje- Fuerteventura. Tastefully decorated. Perfect for a relaxing holiday away from the touristy crowds. Tuineje has a small but really nice museum about important events that took place in the past. There is also a beautiful historical church and a cute tiny square. There is a small supermarket next the church square and it was surprisingly cheaper than the bigger ones I went in Corralejo and Puerto Rosario. It has all the basics if you are cooking your own food, for example. If you have a car, there is always free street parking available nearby and you can go anywhere North-South across the island from Tuineje as it is right in the heart of the island. I did not have a car but I was still able to move around just fine using the bus line number 1, which runs from Puerto Rosario to Morro Jable passing by Tuineje (where the rural property is located) and vice-versa. The name of the bus company is TIADHE and it has all bus lines and timetables in Fuerteventura if you check their website. Be aware that you can only pay the bus using cash. I can see that some reviews noted the fact that the water tank (boiler caldera style) for the shower is rather small but if you are travelling alone, it is more than enough for a decent shower. However, if you are travelling with a companion, that should not be an issue if you organise yourselves to wait a bit in between showers. It does not take very long to heat the water. The owner, Doramas, was very nice and responsive to all my queries. He also left a bottle of locally sourced extra virgin oil as a welcome gift. The housekeeper lady was very nice and did a great job in keeping all clean. If I have the opportunity, I would definitely come back and stay at this rural property in Tuineje-Fuerteventura.

“Fantastic stay!”

We had such a lovely stay and were warmly welcomed by Doramas, no question is too much for him and he helped us out wherever he could! Our apartment which we booked for a whole week was really big and we had plenty of room for two. Casa Rural is located in the center of Fuerteventura so best to rent a car so that you can explore the island. Definitely coming back!

“Charming and comfortable”

The house is beautiful, there is a sense for nice small details that make the stay special, like hand-made soaps, and boutique olive oil, beautiful towels.The pool is also excellent, we were there during a heat wave and it made all the difference. Shower is good. All in all it is a charming place.

Really nice house and garden. Traditional architecture. Nice cool in summer. Lots of details put in the interior design. Host answers very quickly to questions and can come quite quickly if anything is needed. Location in a small town, there is a cafe and a bar nearby.

“Great little gem away from the crowds”

Location was great. The place is a little gem. You feel so secluded! The rooms are lovely and thoughtfully decorated with antiques. Our host was so lovely and let us stay a bit longer! Would definitely recommend.

Our stay in Tuineje was fine. The apartment is cosy and confortable in a very typical ancient cas fitted with swimming-pool. Our apartment downstairs was a bit dark since there's only one window looking outside but the whole property is really pretty. It's very easy to both check-in and out since there's a locker outside the door and the owner provides us all the informations to access the apartment. Keep in mind that Tuineje is about 13 km far from a supermarket though there's a small market place downtown.
