The staff is not very responsive. I stayed here during a business trip and needed an invoice for reimbursement. I sent several emails requesting a proper invoice, rather than just the credit card slip, but never received a reply. Because of this, I would hesitate to recommend the hotel to anyone who requires reimbursement for business travel. That said, aside from this issue, the hotel itself is reasonably comfortable.

I was not able to access the room and told by neighbours that this regularly happens. Do not book! Also did not get the money back.

“A nice place easy access to city centre and university.”
I liked how everything in the facility worked well and how easy traveling in the city from the hotel was. I had a room with beautiful view. Keep in mind that the room has only the bare necessaries so bring your own kettle if you need one. I needed iron at two occasions and the hotel acquired one quickly for me. And lastly the Internet connection was good.

“Two days in my city”
I had to stay in a hotel for two days because my bathroom was being repaired. The hotel was very clean, and the room was cosy and fully renovated. Breakfast was good, and the buffet offered all one needs to start the day. The street was served by three bus stops, and a supermarket is close by.

“After a long day of travelling, Hotel Alte Krone provided exactly what I needed.”
Room was immaculate, comfortable and had good ventilation. Ensuite was clean and the amenities provided were high quality. Did not manage to try the breakfast, but a 10.30am check-out time meant that I was in no rush to leave the next morning.

The bus stop drops you off right in front of the hotel. And there is a grocery store 100 meters away from the hotel.

The staff was friendly. The room was clean. The location was good, close to the bus stop. The breakfast was okay, the room served well for a one-night stay.
