“Mountain stay”

We loved the view and the open air concept. The food and service were excellent. We loved our hike whom has loved in the community for years. Enjoyed the jazzy music that played in the dining area and the coffee was excellent. The pool was refreshing and very clean.

Sophia (the host) and all the staff made this place super special. Initially, we didn't know to expect but eventually were very sad to leave. This is amazing place, with super tasty food (breakfasts, dinners) and we enjoyed it a lot. We went on a couple of hikes with our friend now Juanin (please talk to the host to arrange you those hikes). The views are mindblowing. Feels very remote, and relaxing.

Very easily accessible from the main road but still retains a strong connection to nature - best of both worlds. Beautiful views, kind people, excellent service, delicious food .. what's not to love! We initially booked for just a quick stop and ended up extending our stay for several more days .. & would love to come back one day! Gracias de nuevo!

An excellent alternative place to stay. 20 minutes from Puerto plata and 15 from the closest beach. Don't go if you are searching something fancy or luxury. You won't like it and your review will be unfair for the guys that owns the place. The owners are very kind and adorable. The view from the restaurant is outstanding. Breakfast and dinner are very tasteful. The bar is self service and it is based on your good will!!!!!!!!! There are plenty of excursions and activities nearby so you can spend your days without to get bored.

Great place, attentive staff and awesome food. I highly recommend staying at least 2 nights to fully enjoy the place and activities in the area.

the awesome view, the great food, the friendly staff, the tours offered (charco de los militares: waterfalls, and coffee plantation/ amber mines with a fun ride in motoconcho, but can be done by taxi I think). more than a stay: an experience!

It was very clean and very peaceful. The staff was amazing!
