Overview
A 30-minute drive from the Imajyo 365 Ski Resort, the New Sunpia Tsuruga features a fitness centre, a sauna and a playground for children. Japanese-style and Western rooms come with free wired internet, and massage treatments are available. Guests can have fun singing karaoke or ice-skating on the hotel's rink, or they can relax in the spacious public bath or the rose garden. New Tsuruga Sunpia houses barbecue facilities, a souvenir shop and drinks vending machines. Carpeted rooms come with beds, while Japanese-style rooms feature traditional futon bedding on a tatami (woven mat) floor. All rooms are fitted with an LCD TV, a mini-fridge and an en suite bathroom. Yukata robes are provided. A breakfast buffet with a Japanese and Western spread is offered at Restaurant Bienvenue. The restaurant serves Western and Japanese cuisine, as well as cake at tea time. It sometimes features a buffet for lunch and dinner. Hotel New Sunpia Tsuruga is an 8-minute drive from JR Tsuruga Station, and a 10-minute drive from the Kehi Jingu Shrine.

“Great hotel with all you need and more.”
New Sunpia is a great affordable stay. Nothing over the top, and a pretty spacious room with all the necessities. Close to a bus stop and a Don Quixote/shopping mall. Helpful staff, and a wealth of on-site amenities including a gym, several karaoke rooms, and a comic library.

“Nice staff, good hotel, bad location for us”
The staff were lovely and able to discount our stay when we noticed it had become cheaper. Room was nice and shower was good.

“Very clean, but our room came with bedbugs.”
Easy to find if you have a car, the main road has many family type restaurants and there is a supermarket open nearby. Clean, good quality wedding hotel. We stayed on a weekday, very cheap.

The rooms are larger than usual hotels - very nice. The staff are helpful and friendly. We enjoyed staying.
