Cute old fashioned hotel. Had everything you need at a good price. Onsen was a bonus. Tasty Breckfast, few minute walk to 7-11, free ice cream and coffee machine. Nice lobby. If you have car I recommend max box - amazing Japanese kimono and second hand - so cheap!!!

The best thing about my experience is probably only just the free ice creams at the lobby. Some of the receptionist are friendly which I appreciate. My check in is also very swift and my room had a nice view.

They provide a good service for the price. The staff were pleasant, the rooms were perfectly adequate and the breakfast was tasty and plentiful. And there seemed to be ample parking, which is a bit rare for Japanese hotels.

Overall experience staying at Hotel Route tskuba was very good The room was very clean and mattress was extremely comfortable The breakfast was awesome everyday a different menu (l even had curry for breakfast once) All I would say is the location is the only detriment as it is a bit of a walk from tskuba centre and the nearest Convenience store is a good 10 min walk from the hotel But I shall reiterate overall a very good stay at this hotel

This is a fantastic hotel !!Looks a bit worn on the outside - but room and facilities were excellent!! Fabulous complementary indoor and outdoor hot bath with separate men / women’s time. Regular breakfast, and my price included a free breakfast. Regular good service from the staff. Regular WiFi.

Large comfortable room The hotel is in very quiet surroundings and very clean. The public bath in the hotel looked almost brand new and spacious. Very helpful and friendly staff.

The hotel itself, I have no complaints. The rooms were clean, the staff courteous and helpful. The wifi was excellent, although it was a pain having to join different networks on each floor (i.e. Room on Floor 5, Breakfast on Floor 2 and the Reception on Floor 1).

Walking distance from the centre of Tsukuba. Travelled for a conference and walked in and out each day. Friendly staff.

The staff is accommodating, the room is clean and the hotel has a nice bath on the first floor. You can get a free bicycle if you don't have a car and dislike walking.

Staff was very nice and helpful. The rooms were small certainly but comfortable. Wash cloth (western style) for foreigners would be nice to have provided. The hotel provides a few bikes complimentary. That was great to have to move around as the hotel is 40' walk from the center or 25' from the conference center. Japanese breakfast, one has to adapt to it, but when accustomed - one can really enjoy it.

The best part of my stay was the public bath at the hote. I used it every day. The hotel is not in the centre of Tsukuba, but there are buses and it is close enough to walk.

“I think its a good hotel for business trip”

The hotel was like I expected it. I booked really last minute and everything went well. The staff was really friendly. The hotel is old but the room is clean. The breakfast was enough. It is a walk from the station but actually doable. To the hotel I took a taxi from Tsukuba station, but in the morning I opted to walk and it took about 20 minutes.

Enjoyed the breakfast and it has an indoor onsen. You’ll need a taxi as it’s quite a long walk from town center.
