From all lodges we stayed Kilaguni was absolutely the best in class. Amazing views of the park & Mount Kilimanjaro, great rooms direct facing the water hole, clean bathrooms, great sundowner bar & terrace and well assorted buffet for both breakfast, lunch & diner. Also very well located for all game drives in Tsavo, including the springs & rhino sanctuary.

“A stay we will never forget !”

Our room was upgraded with a balcony and it was such a nice surprise when we entered our room ! We have the pond as our room view and it was great to spot the animals passing by constantly ! Staff was nice and helpful. As we stayed during rain season, the lodge wasn’t so busy as well. Buffet had good options in our opinion and it was good the fact we still had chance to have breakfast after our game drives in the morning. Beware of the scorpions in nights !😅

“Incredible watering hole views”

It was incredible looking at elephants, giraffe, zebra, buffalo, wildebeest and a range of other animals close up from the restaurant and our balcony. It was such a uniquely incredible experience. The buffet was consistently delicious with a good range of vegetarian options. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The pool area is beautiful and it's a good size. The gardens around the lodge are beautiful and relaxing to walk around.

Beautiful location right in front of a waterhole where all kinds of wildlife congregate every day and night. Experienced guide took us on a very interesting safari drive. All hotel staff super-friendly and attentive. Great New Year’s party with Masai dances

“A theatre of live wildlife I’ll remember forever”

The theatre of animals in the water hole all day long with a lovely big veranda to watch from. Incredible - we saw at least 10 species coming in groups right in front the hotel. Beautiful natural vibe to the hotel and really helpful friendly staff.

Great location, spectacular patio overlooking a waterhole. Staff very friendly & attentive, especially in restaurant & bar. Food very tasty, fresh! Game drives were great, especially the night one.

Absolutely unbelievable location. The experience of watching 30 elephants cavorting in a waterhole only 50m away from your balcony or the bar is beyond words. Superb facilities, great food and helpful staff too!

Kilaguni Lodge was an amazing experience. Other reviews were correct when they said the animals come to you, you can just spend all day sat watching the animals, the views are incredible. Our room was beautiful and had a view of the watering hole. Overall, very comfortable, I could have stayed forever. All of the members of staff were incredible; they could not do enough for us. I got sick while staying here and was able to see a nurse and get medication without any trouble. Food was incredible and diverse.

Great location with views over the watering hole which had lots of visitors. I was able to arrange a birthday cake for my husband which was presented with amazing singing of Hakuna Matata.

The animals come to you! No need to sit on rough roads for hours. Sit on the deck or have dinner or from your balcony watch the passing parade of lots of different animals. Staff great too.

This lodge makes safari so easy - the animals come to you! Over our stay we saw LOTS of gazelle waterbuck elephant giraffe wildebeest zebra eland warthog buffalo hyena jackal birds and even a lion with cubs on the last night.All from the comfort of our dinner table or our room balcony. Staff professional and friendly. Rooms a good size and balcony a great view spot.Pool area peaceful

“I wish we had more days to spend here, just wonderful!”

This resort has been probably the best one on our whole 2 weeks trip in Kenya. The rooms are spacious, all the staff is absolutely professional but nevertheless kind and friendly. We fully enjoyed our stay at Kilaguni... the room, the pool and expecially the restaurant with its magnificent view of the two potholes.
