Wonderful location- peaceful, set amongst a fragrant garden with distant sea views. Cottage accommodation tasteful and comfortable. Spectacular breakfast.

Location is good if you'd like to explore a bunch of different beach spots. You will need a car as is the way with most places in Pelion. Pelion is paradise. The hosts were kind and provided a lovely breakfast every morning.

AMANITA is beautifully located and surrounded by nature. It’s very serene and inviting. We got a warm welcome and everyone was friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The room was lovely and in excellent condition and super clean. The breakfast is nothing like you’ve experienced before! It’s based on produce growing in their garden and home cooked pies and desserts. We also did a cooking class (that was extra), which was also a great experience. We went through the garden with Kostas (the chef), picked the produce, cooked together and enjoyed a lovely meal all together. Cannot recommend it more!

Amanita is a special place to stay. The surroundings, garden, staff, breakfasts and beautiful accommodation and provisions. It was a highlight to our Pelion visit - big thanks to Mr Filaretos and his lovely team. We hope to come back one day

Already from the first contact the owner asked about any special dietary needs, this may not be unusual yet Amanita’s lodgings are set in a fantastic organic garden tended by the owners and we got to sample many of its delights, breakfast/brunch AMAZING! We also did the cooking class one evening, a great evening. All the service is of excellent quality, friendly and attentive. We stayed in one of the very roomy, tastefully decorated cottages, impeccably clean, cared for daily. It is an intimate setting, very restful, surrounded by greenery with a view of the sea, just lovely. Some beaches are easier to reach than others yet there big coves like enormous swimming pools and there are more open sea beaches. All we visited were lovely, the steeper roads and hikes worthwhile. There is always the easy option too.

The marvelous breakfast with fresh products from the garden and with traditional greek dishes. This is not a regular breakfast, but a true experience! Even better: you can take some experience at home by buying the book and some homemade products.

the breakfast was very very good. fresh vegetables from the garden and lots of variety. everything healthy and beautifully presented. the host filaretos is very knowledgeable and passionate about local cuisine. the whole place is tranquil, with great views of the sea and lots of quiet. the cleanliness of the apt was top! the host and wife marianna are interesting and warm people. i highly reccommend!

It's a beautiful place overlooking the sea surrounded by gardens and flowers with its own vegetable garden and fruit trees. The staff was friendly and helpful. We'll definitely be back.

Amanita guesthouse has set the bar very high for the rest of our trip! The place and setting are an absolute delight. The hosts are amazing and so caring for their guests and their garden. The place has so much charm and good energy, the food is amazing as the ingredients come directly from their garden. They adorably prepared a goody bag for us as we were leaving very early on our last day. Thank you amanita for this amazing reenergising experience, we hope to be back soon!

“A pleasant and quiet stay with a gastronomic twist!”

Staying at Amanita is truly a great experience. The breakfast, prepared with love by the owner (who is also a member of the gastronomic community of Pelion) was definitely a highlight. Each morning we were presented with a curated variety of tasty local products as well as fruit and vegetables from the garden! Upon check-in we were also given a detailed and very informative guide of the area, with many tips, which we found very helpful during our stay. The room was very well equipped and clean, very pleasantly decorated. The location is great if you're looking for a nice view, peace and quiet. There are restaurants and a supermarket only a short drive away.
