Located just 5 km from Trysil ski centre, these self-catering cottages come with free Wi-Fi and mountain views over the river Trysil. The Trysil Hyttegrend site offers bike and boat rental. Each of the bright cottages at Trysil Hyttegrend has a living area with a flat-screen TV and stove, and a well-equipped kitchen or kitchenette. All come with private bathroom facilities. The river is popular for fly fishing, while the surrounding terrain is also renowned for mountain biking and hiking, with 100 km of cross country trails. Trysil has a number of restaurants and shops, and there is a bus stop outside the cottage site where a free bus takes guests to the slopes.

The location is beautiful, a lovely setting away from the main town to relax when not skiing. Our 6 person cabin was very nice and well equipped. The owners were very friendly and responsive

The owners are brilliant. I was collected from the bus station. They lent me a hair dryer as I forgot mine at home. I was upgraded to a bigger cabine. It was nice and warm on arrival and throughout my stay. Very tranquil place. The ski bus is stopping in front of the campsite. 5 minutes trip to the ski slope.

Beautiful location! The cabins were plenty spacious with all the necessary amenities. Electric heating and decent internet speeds were appreciated as well. The staff was very welcoming.

Beautiful location over the frozen lake/river, with a view of the fell and ski resort. Warm, cozy cabin, perfect for relaxing in after a days skiing. Owner very responsive with everything we needed and contactable by messaging when we had a problem with the dishwasher (we'd managed to turn the water off by mistake, so our fault!).

Great hytte with beautiful location. The house was very well equipped with absolutely everything you need and in very good condition. Nice terace outside with view on Klar river. Camping also provides additional recreation equipment, if you wish.

The location of this campsite is absolutely stunning, and the grounds are very well maintained. The cabins are in excellent condition – clean, comfortable, and well-equipped. We can’t comment on the shared sanitary facilities, as we stayed in a cabin with a private bathroom. Overall, this place is a clear recommendation!

“A hidden gem tucked away in the heart of Trysil”
we stayed in two cabins overlooking the lake, the views were incredible, the price was amazing for Norway, everything was exceptionally clean, we loved the cosy sauna and log burners plus we were really close to Trysil ski resort! We were even lucky enough to see the Northern Lights on our last night!
