Great hotel with a fabulous restaurant and breakfast. The rooms are comfortable albeit a little basic, but beds are lovely and soft. Location is good, about a 6 min drive or 10 minute bus ride with a bus stop right outside the hotel - just be careful with bus timetable!!

“Perfect spot for a Norwegian ski trip”

The property was in a great location in town with a free ski bus running hourly up to the ski resort just 10 mins away. Free parking and option to charge electric vehicles was a bonus. The hotel is immaculately clean with all the facilities you could need including bar, restaurant, areas to chill, boot room with heated boot racks for drying ski boots, rails for storing skis and poles, or bikes in the summer. The chef in the restaurant is exceptional and the food was outstandingly delicious. Breakfast was included in our rate and the selection was excellent from freshly baked bread and pastries to cold meats and cheeses, a great selection of fresh fruits, 4 different yoghurt choices, cereals, nuts and seeds, eggs and sausages plus freshly brewed Costa coffee and orange juice. There was a health shot available every morning which was a lovely addition to the choices. The room was warm and beds were cozy. The bathroom, whilst small had everything we needed including lovely toiletries from Rituals. Plenty of space to unpack and hang clothes made our stay comfortable. The staff are what really sets this hotel apart from the rest. They were incredible. Martin, Maria, Veronica and the rest of the team work tirelessly and always with a smile to keep everything running so smoothly. I sware they must not have time to sleep! Always so welcoming with that lovely Norwegian way, they were the best!!

The location is good in the center of town. It's about 15mins drive up the mountain to the ski slopes. The room is a reasonable size and the windows open. Downstairs in the lobby is nice and cosy but no reception

The best location you can wish for, comfortable hotel in the town centre set back from the road, so quiet and relaxed atmosphere. Amazing breakfasts and coffees at the hotel including cakes. I am still dreaming about the breakfast, as we all got hooked on meatballs and sausages for breakfast. The hotel has its own brewery and local beers on tap which are great. The restaurant downstairs is totally amazing, we had the most amazing fish and burgers there for dinner and the prices are reasonable. Its popular so I recommend you book in advance. Bus station for busses to/from Oslo airport 7 mins walk. Outside of the hotel is shuttle bus stop with busses to the ski lifts leaving every hour - 5 mins later you are skiing. You have the ice ring about 5 min stroll from the hotel, with free plastic seals and penguins for the children to hop on and ride, all lit up and safe. The supermarket is a short stroll, has fab ride on car-trolleys for the children to sit in whilst you shop.

“Enjoyably active week in the snow.”

Stayed last week for 5 days skiing. The hotel was half the price of the Radisson on the mountain where stayed before and to be honest it was much of an inconvenience staying at the far cheaper hotel and getting the bus up to the raddisson. The hotel was lovely. Staff were brilliant and the manager actually took us up the mountain one day when we missed a bus. Hotel was clean and the food was excellent. The boot room was easily accessible and has a boot dryer.
