Beautiful apartment. Really well decorated and thought out, with plenty room for coat and shoe storage etc. Perfectly positioned in the resort. Loads of space for the family to lounge around without getting in each other's way. 3x separate bedrooms, all with loads of storage space and 2 really big bathrooms with fantastic, powerful showers. The living and dining areas were really spacious, with comfortable sofas and nice big table. Views were amazing. The biggest wraparound balcony commanded the best views of the resort.

“Obstructed mountain view, severe construction noise, and agreed compensation not honoured.”
We booked a “Studio Mountain View” apartment. The unit faced directly on an active construction site, incl. site offices, machinery & a crane, resulting in a significantly obstructed mountain view. In addition to the obstructed view, there was substantial construction noise from early morning. We were woken before 7am by excavators working directly outside the window, making it difficult to rest in the unit. The unit on the ground floor offered no privacy due to construction workers walking past throughout the day, as the site office entrance was directly opposite the unit's window & “balcony”, resulting in curtains needing to remain closed, removing all natural light & any usable view. The reception manager offered compensation for the construction disturbance, but it was later withdrawn after the stay. We were temporarily moved to another apartment for part of the stay, which we appreciated; however, this required packing & moving twice during a 7-night trip as the alternative room was booked. This wasn't an upgrade; it was a workaround for an unsuitable room. Trysil Alpine Lodge confirmed via email, “Information about ongoing construction work at the property is stated on the Booking.com listing, so guests are informed in advance that some disturbances may occur.” This is buried in the property information & does not make clear that a “Mountain View” room may, in reality, face directly onto a construction site. Overall, this was a disappointing experience due to the mismatch between what was booked & what was provided, & the failure to honour the agreed compensation, which is a complete misrepresentation.

Apartment good inside, comfortable, nice bathroom, and ski drier wardrobe. Ski locker room was excellent, and ski-in/ski-out location was very good.

“Nice facility but heavily impacted by construction activities”
Modern 'Norwegian/Trysil' style apartments in a central location within the Trysil ski area. The apartment was in good condition and didn't feel worn down by frequent use. The facility is fully equipped for ski and MTB seasons, with useful features such as ventilated gear storage.

“Value for money”
Efficient check in with friendly staff, simple questions were often met with blank looks which leads me to think that the staff need more training. Rooms were clean, beds comfy, good bathrooms, overall the room itself was great.

“Magical, epic ski resort and superb accommodation to share with friends! We will be back!”
Wow what a property, literally ski in ski out. Cosy, warm, comfortable beds, modern and aesthetically pleasing. Everything we needed for a 3 day stay with friends. Staff were friendly and the bonus of the dishwasher and washing machine was great! We went back to use the toilet and could literally see my husband on the button lift which was surreal! Best ski resort we’ve ever been to! We will be back with our daughter next year! Thanks for having us!

Great location, no need to walk to the slopes. Lockers on the 1st floor allowed to keep most of the equipment there. Living room was super convenient and spacious. It was super quiet and I was sleeping like a baby. Reception is in the hotel nearby and can be reached at anytime.
