“Great stay for surfers”

They had nice boards for rent at a reasonable price. Very close to the beach also. The restaurant is delicious and the staff are very friendly

The hotel is in a great location, close to the sea, there is a good restaurant downstairs, you can rent a surfboard cheaply, but I recommend taking lessons from Randy, a great teacher. The owner very helpful, great atmosphere in the hotel. Everything I needed here is here

The rooms are basic but clean and with everything you need. The staff are lovely and let us check in early after an overnight bus and then let us hang around while waiting for another night bus. The breakfast was unbelievable!

It’s a very laid-back surfer hostel with very nice staff also in the restaurant. You can take surfing lessons with Randy who really helps you improve your surfing skills. A huge breakfast is included and the restaurant is also perfect for lunch or dinner. The hostel has a little area where you could sit and socialise.

That´s the BEST HOSTEL of Huanchaco ! The breakfast is just perfect and you can count with a lot of food ! Location is awesome, very close to the Playa ! Acomodation is also really good with a hot shower, confy bed and Randi will give you all the best tips about great surf spots, surf classes and a good variety of his own equipament to rent ! It is a nice place if you want to have a nice and quiet place where you can meet other travelers near Trujillo and want (learn to) surf! Randy the owner is the nicest guy and will help you with your questions and requests!

I loved the relax vibe of the hostel, family, randal the host and the area. Your super close to the beach. In a nice street full of shops and you dont have to go far for good food..the owners have a buzzy nice restaurant..i love their included breakfast. Really royal for being in a hostel.. wauw!! The reviews didnt lying!! The family who run it..are so sweet and helpfull. Randal who take care of the hostel is really accomodating and available at anytime. The rooftop is nice to chill. My room was spacious.. the matrass was a bit hard but i slept very nice. It would be nice to have a fan as the kitchen give a lot of heat in that particular room. The bathroom in the room is a nice bonus.. could be a bit more cleaner and a fix of the showerhead. Maybe hot water if possible..the heater wasnt workinh. Thats a minor note.. randal cleaned my room upon arrival..me and my friend were the only one in the hostel because of low season. .i can imagine with more People its more noisy..but i dont think it affect your sleep. Its a quiet area. I absolutly recommend staying here and not in trujillo. I have been to the city with the local bus who pick you up in the front of the hostel..collectivos are also possible. I prefer them more.. and they were actually cheaper. Plaza arma was nice but other than that i was happy to be back in huanchaco.

Very helpful staff and good surfboard hire and breakfast. Even let me stay in the room until the evening before my bus so I could shower.

The staff was so kind - explaining me about things to see in the area, and tending to my needs so well. The whole hostel has a great vibe.

Great Breakfast, flexible check in & out, big rooms, good location, tasty food, good surfing equipment & -teacher. But the best was definetly the staff, very friendly and helpfull, cool people! All in all Amazing Hostel with a good vibe, can 100% recommend!

Great free breafast, good location just a few steps to the beach/ surf spots and on the main bus route from trujillo.

super nice staff, they were so friendly!! Randy and Renato were helpful in every situation. we could enter our room in the night/early in the morning after a night bus and have a very late checkout time on the last day. surfing lessons were very good! the hostel has a good restaurant downstairs with quality meals with good prices. the rooms are slightly basic but have all they need. rooms were cleaned daily if wanted. we really felt super good here because of the staff!! 😊😊
