The hostal is at the edge of the old town about 3 or 4 minutes walk to Plaza Major and all of the major places of interest. There is parking in the courtyard at only 7 euros a day. The staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very good value at 6.50 euros.

Exceptional location just 5 minutes walk to the plaza mayor. A beautiful old building and on sight private parking. The reception staff were really friendly.

This is a traditional hostal with an old-time/authentic Spain feel. Lots of dark wood and tiles. The room overlooked a small square and had a beautiful tiled floor. It was big and easily accomodated two double beds.The owners were friendly and the light breakfast was very good. Car park at the rear. A short walk up into town. And Trujillo is lovely.

Traditional hostal that reflects its location in the depths of Extremadura - very welcoming hostess, no English spoken and our command of Spanish is shameful, but we always manage to work things out! Our room was a reasonable size with a large bathroom and patio doors opening directly onto the garden area - spotlessly clean, basic but adequate breakfast, again served by our very attentive and hard working hostess, hardstanding parking area to the rear of the property accessed thro' an archway - which was ideal for our motorcycle. Just a short walk up to the Plaza Major, the castle and all the amazing sights of this overlooked gem of a town - no shortage of places to eat/drink, we enjoyed our brief visit very much!

It is the fourth time I have stayed here so I guess I like it. Although the price has gone up significantly (as has most things). There is no charge to park a motorcycle at the rear of the hostel.

Its taking me a while to get used to spanish hotels not providing tea making facilities in the rooms. this hotel tho readily gave me access to their kitchen and a kettle to help myself. top marks for this.

“A beautiful little property with large bedrooms and super helpful staff”

A lovely old restored property run by staff who really cared about it and were super helpful for us when we arrived with our bikes. As we were leaving very early the next morning they left breakfast out for us to help ourselves too. Very nicely appointed large bedroom. Thank you for a wonderful stay.
