The hotel is very close to the centre of the old town and castle. The building is actually two buildings part of which is an old palace. The staff were very attentive, in particular reception, breakfast room and porter.

Location. Gorgeous architecture, sympathetically restored and converted. Facilities on site and nearby. Swimming pool an added bonus. Staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly, with a special mention to Señor Juan. Room was amazing, large, clean, very comfortable bed, plenty of hot water, large soft white towels and toiletries. Hotel parking nearby. Would highly recommend. N.B. Hotel restaurant was not open for evening meals but we had the most amazing meal at 'Restaurante Dos Orillas', just a short walk from the hotel.
