“Most perfect stay ever for the hike”

Adenisi was such a lovely stay for us! We had it all to ourselves with two other lovely girls and they were the sweetest family ever!! The food was amazing and had massive serving sizes that were the perfect for the next mornings hike. Highly highly recommend! He even drove us to the local swim spot nearby even though it was only a 10min walk. The beds were so comfortable and the bathrooms were recently renovated too!

Our experience at Adenisi guesthouse was excellent. It is located in a peaceful part of town and the mountains surrounding it are unbelievable. The room we booked was super clean and comfortable, and we slept very well. The staff at the guesthouse are so kind and went above and beyond to make us comfortable. We would definitely recommend eating dinner on site - the portions were huge and the food was delicious!! The guesthouse is about a 20-30 minute walk out of town, but we were lucky enough to get a ride to the trailhead which was a saviour. We would recommend this guesthouse to anyone coming to Valbona.

“A “12” star accomodation”

Everything was perfect, if there was the option for 11 or 12 stars I would press that option! Ardenis and his sister are really great people and staff, they just want to make sure everything is perfect for you as much as possible. The rooms were great the landscape as great and the breakfast was just what we needed. Surely will want to come back, just to try and have some traditional fli that they make!

“Great rooms in new all wooden house with super friendly hosts and great food.”

Very new all wooden house a few kilometers down the road from Valbona. The rooms are really nice in bright wood, with comfy beds and own little bathrooms. It was overall very quiet and we slept very well at night. Everything was super clean and the family hosting us are all very lovely people. They sometimes also cook dinner for their guests and if you get the chance I highly recommend trying it. Great local food (very big portions as usual in Albania) that are also vegetarian friendly if you announce it ahead of time. Would definitely stay there again.

“Spectacular stay at Adenisi Guesthouse”

Our stay at Adenisi Guesthouse was truly delightful. The owner’s exceptional hospitality made us feel incredibly welcome throughout our entire visit. The dinner we enjoyed there was a homemade feast, with fresh soup, baked bread, and delicious Burke, among other delights. I’m already looking forward to returning and enthusiastically recommending this experience to friends and family!

This family run small hotel is located down the Valbona valley, but the owner was so kind to pick us up by his car from the end of the trial (really apppreciate it after long trekking from Theth). We ordered dinner and breakfast - really big portions of Albanian local food. Hotel is may be still not 100% finished but all is brand new inside and of high quality. The added value of this hotel is the owner himself who is a member of mountain rescue team and former mountain guide, of course speaking fluently English. It is worth to chat with Adenisi about the trials, mountians and plans for the possible hikes and listen to his advice. Albanian Alps are not difficult to hike on well marked paths like Peaks of the Balkans in summer but the situation can rapidly change in case of bad weather and is different in the spring time when there is still a lot of snow in the mountains.

This guesthouse is run by a unique local family. We mostly enjoyed incredible homemade dinners (some of the dishes made on fire outside) and breakfast. The food was so delicious. The owner as ex mountain guide helped us a lot with preparing for hikes, he suggested us a nice track and so on.

Fantastic family running this place, great breakfast, lovely family, comfy rooms. Welcoming and warm would reccomend to anyone. Exactly what was needed after a long hike. We were given a lift also by the family which was a nice touch. Be aware it is about an hours walk from the trail head coming from Theth.

Very nice accommodation in a beautiful setting, with a very kind host and family, who are very helpful.

Truely Family run guesthouse ran with a lot of heartblood. Mother is cooking and the daughters perfectly take the englisch communication. True Albanian life. Nicely located close to the valbona valley at the last step ascend. Property still under development - just go there, enjoy the athmosphere and support the family!
