“Great short stay value location in Tromso”

Location was excellent for central Tromso and staff were helpful

Had free access to the gym, met Idar, talked to him for some time. Most chill guy ever. Then also met Oliver - give this man a raise. He deserves it, he does his work with alot of passion and loyality. Also there was free coffee and tea in the hotel.

We didn’t stay in First Hotel Backpack. They moved us to First Hotel Viking which was really nice. Cosy room for 3 people but more then enough for two night stay. Also we got complimentary breakfast in near by hotel as well which worked very well for us. Friendly staff.

Location. Complimentary upgrade. Comfortable beds. Laundry. Free tea/coffee/chocolate chips biscuits. Nasrin was the best. Friendly and professional. Happy to return.

The staff were so friendly helpful.

It was close to everything (though tromso is pretty small, so that’s to be expected), and the room while nothing special was clean. The beds were comfortable, and the bathroom decent. Staff were extremely helpful and welcoming, we were able to get a toaster and a coffee machine in our room plus coffee pods every day

“An overnight stay.”

We had the doudle room with bathroom which looks out over Tromso, we even saw a little streak of green aurora from the room. The staff are friendly and helpful. There's free coffee and biscuits, it's in a good location to walk to the city in 5 minutes.

I was travelling with my Mum so booking a 'hostel' style hotel felt risky but we had a great experience. We had a ground floor room and it was a little bit noisy but after the first night we didn't notice the comings and goings as much. We had a private room with a bathroom and it had everything we needed and the towels were replaced as needed. Tea and biscuits available in the lounge area. We didn't use the kitchen but it looked clean and tidy.

There’s this massive kitchen for which we can cook in. The hotel was very reasonably priced, tidy and it’s very well equipped for any travellers who just want a place to crash and maybe even cater for themselves! I’d recommend!

The kitchen facilities are very complete and particularly clean. The staff with dreadlocks at the front desk is very nice. When we were cooking, I accidentally burned the bottom of the pot. The staff at the front desk cleaned up very well and didn't blame us. I felt very sorry, but I'm very grateful. Besides, the location is great and the cost performance is very high.

The staff listened to our needs, going above and beyond, especially around check in at 11pm and check out. We were hosted with drinks, cookies, access to kitchen, dining, lounge, with views, as well as luggage storage. It was quiet and comfortable.

“Short stay in Tromsø”

The location is really close to the meeting point for most of the activities you can do in Tromsø so that was perfect. The room was a good size, the shower and heating were really good and the staff at reception were friendly. I didn't use the kitchen or the lounge area but both looked good from what I could see.

The room was cosy and clean with a fridge and sink, and the beds were comfy. The staff were super friendly and helpful, and gave us lots of tips about activities and where to look for the northern lights. The nice little dining and kitchen space was great, and the free tea and coffee was appreciated!

“Wonderful”

The Enter Backpack Hotel is a cozy place where you can feel at home. We enjoyed the free coffee and tea in the living room. The rooms and the rest of the hotel were very clean. What we liked most was the amazing staff. Everyone was extremely friendly and helpful. They gave us lots of recommendations and made our stay truly perfect. Here you get the friendly family feeling of a Hostel and the privacy of a Hotel. We would definitely come back.

“A perfect base for a quiet, friendly stay in Tromsø”

Enter Backpack Hotel was the perfect base for my stay in Tromsø. It is in a really good spot, far enough from the centre that it is quiet at night but still close enough that you can walk to everything you need.The staff are honestly incredible. They are super friendly and welcoming and you feel at home as soon as you walk through the door.The place has a relaxed backpacker vibe, with comfy, clean rooms and a good common area where you can chill after a day out. I would happily stay here again next time I am in Tromsø.
