Sauna was not warm and it is located in a corner of a small gym room with windows to the gym. Hotel is promising in their web pages also vegetarian and vegan options for the dinner, but these were not available. Not even from request. Level of dinner is low in general. Breakfast standard is lower that average, not many fresh things available.

Good location close to the harbour. It was convenient to have afternoon tea and a simple dinner included. However the dinner is basic and repetitive.

Breakfast had a good variety of foods, plus snacks at 3 -5 pm,plus dinner. All included in the price of the room ,although we've booked just the breakfast. The only inconvenience, was that the delivery did not come in time ,so there were no beers at all, plus Sunday they do not sell any alcoholic drinks at any shops. But there are lots of pubs and restaurants that you can get a drink ,especially on a Sunday.

Very happy with hotel staff, cleanliness, good selection of food at breakfast and dinner. Fika was lovely. Hotel was ideally placed to reach starting points of trips and for shops.

Half board is an excellent option when you consider prices in Tromso for food at restaurants. Breakfast and dinner food options were both good - not a broad range but something for everyone.

Amazing staff. Delicious food. Could have more options though, but I understand that the hotel lives by sustainability rules. Great location, nice that fika is included and the coffee machine is available all day. All in all, a very good stay!

“Awesome Home Aurora”

The location is superb....very near the beautiful harbour and the airport express bus stop is just like 200 meters away!! The shopping area is at the next road. Love it that breakfast, fika and dinner is included in the stay. Dinner was different every night of our stay. The room was spacious and the beds comfortable. Overall it was very clean and importantly, water pressure was good. Would return to stay if I visit Tromso again

“Central location, great value, clean and comfortable”

We booked the hotel as it is in the heart of Tromsø and represented great value; given that the hotel provides breakfast 0700 - 1000, Fika, coffee and cake, 1500 - 1700 and dinner 18:00 - 2000. The meals are varied and plentiful and personally I enjoyed all that was put in front of me. However, given that they are served over several hours they can be, as one other reviewer has noted, ‘tepid at best’. That being said the staff are helpful and attentive and respond to all needs. Additionally, our ‘compact double’ room was comfortable and clean. Would we stay again; definitely!
