“Breathtaking view and an incredibly cozy cottage!”

Outstanding place to stay!!! Perfectly facilitated house and kitchen, with an overwhelming view - directly located at the beach/Fjords and a cozy decorated interior! The house owner Terje is more than hospitable and caring! We stayed at Brensholmen Beach House for 4 nights and it was outstanding! ♥️🇳🇴 Thanks a lot to Terje and his family for having us!

This gorgeous place is utterly magical. Cannot speak highly enough of the experience we had. Terje is a wonderful host, helpful, kind and full of useful information. The house has everything you need and is beautifully decorated. The area is incredible - nature, solitude, mountains and water. And - best of all - we saw the Aurora every night from the terrace and from the floor to ceiling glass window. If you are travelling to Tromsø, this is THE place to stay. Absolutely wonderful.

“Nothing left to be desired!”

We can wholeheartedly recommend this accommodation! The host Terje, the fantastic house right on the beach, the view - everything was wonderful. We found the beach house well equipped, super clean and tidy, and attractively furnished. And we enjoyed the cozy fireplace. We had a great time there. Terje even “managed” to give us a cloudless sky on the first evening so we could see the fantastic Northern Lights, without any stress or heated insoles, directly from the terrace or even comfortably from the living room through the large windows. Don't miss this beach house!

“Bucket List Holiday Home”

The space is beautifully curated, with everything one would possibly need for a winter wonderland stay. As soon as you enter it feels so comfortable like home away from home. The host is exceptional - communication, information, knowledge of local area all 10/10. We were travelling with two young children - we initially had a lot of excursions booked, but we cancelled two upon our arrival as we were just so excited to explore the beach and sled around the house. The cosy interior with open floor plan and surrounding floor to ceiling windows make for the perfect space to watch for northern lights. The drive into Tromso is easy even when it is heavy snow, we had no issues and the scenic views are breathtaking. What a special find. Cannot wait to return!

“Very cosy house by the sea with aurora views”

The house of Terje is super cosy and we were sad that we had to leave after three nights. We lobed the location and the very tasteful interior design. It was very clean and we enjoyed warching Netflix in the evening after lots of snow tile during the day. Thank you Terje and I hipe we stay in touch!

Terje, the owner of the house was very helpful. We had issue with our rental car and he helps us a lot. He even went from tromso to brensholmen to greet us and explain to us about the house. He even informed us if got storm and when it safe to go out. The house not only got the basic cooking ingredient, they also got few spices, flour, rice so its very easy for you to cook your own foods. Its also near Joker, where you can get your groceries. The house was also very spacious, beautiful and the bathroom already included with washing machine. Last but not least, we even get to see the aurora from this house. So you should reserve this house!

“Northern lights from the living room. Best place ever”

Are you coming to Tromso for the northern lights? This is a place where you HAVE to stay. You can literally see the aurora from the living room (or anywhere near the house as there is almost none light polution so it's absolutely stunning). The nature around the house is amazing The beach house itself is absolutely amazing. We had the best time here and we hope to come back one day. Thank you, Terje, for greeting us warmly and giving us so many helpful tips!

“Unforgetable atmospere!”

Location of the house is amazing. You can observe Northern Lights as well as the sunsets over the sea horizon. Direct view of the mountains from the living room. Very quiet place. Hidden Easter egg for our kids was a lovely surprise! Thank You for sharing this magical property with us..

The beach house was a perfect location to view the Northern lights, which we saw on the first night from the property.. The views were spectacular. The beach house was warm and comfortable a perfect place to unwind. Terje the owner of the property went out of his way to ensure we had the best time, he was full of information about the area which enabled us to make the most of the time there. Terje ensured we got from the airport to the beach house safely and ensured we had some supplies on our arrival as our Oslo flight was delayed making our arrival time too late for any shopping trips. We would and have already recommended this experience to our friends and family. Excellent 👍

“A dreamy Arctic retreat in Brensholmen, Tromsø with unforgettable hospitality and breathtaking views”

Our stay in Brensholmen, Tromsø, was nothing short of magical and Terje and his family made our trip truly special. In the lead up to the trip and throughout our actual stay, Terje was incredibly helpful and went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. The house itself was beautiful and cosy with great attention to detail and we felt right at home from the moment we walked through the front door. The kitchen and the entire house were also equipped with everything we could need. The highlight of our stay had to be the breathtaking views of Brensholmen beach from the house. The scenery was simply spectacular, and we were lucky enough to see the Northern Lights on five out of the seven nights of our week-long stay, which was a dream come true. What really took us aback, however, was Terje's exceptional kindness and thoughtfulness. Prior to our arrival on New Year's Eve, he informed us about the supermarket closures on NYE and New Year's Day and even offered to do some grocery shopping for us. Terje also continued to check in on us throughout our stay, letting us know the best times to see the Northern Lights, where to park when snow was expected and just to see how we were enjoying our stay. Terje and his family's genuine care and effort to make our stay comfortable and memorable went above and beyond our expectations. Their hospitality turned a great trip into one of the most special and relaxing getaways we've ever had. We'd highly recommend Brensholmen Beach House and would love to return one day.

“Perfect experience”

The owner of this beautiful property is very friendly and provided us with a lot of valuable help. The house was warm and clean, the TV, audio and video equipments were advanced, the kitchen was complete, the bedroom was comfortable. Though the weather was not as good as we expected, the memories are unforgettable:)
