“Calming, relaxed, warm and cozy. All needs are present!”

Location was nicely remote, we had all the space and Tromvik itself has a nice and small restaurant. We had enough to walk/hike, even with all the snow. Recommend doing this when the sky is clear but doing it while its snowing is a experience on its own to!

“Short weekend getaway to see the Northern Lights”

A wonderful stay! Everything matched the description perfectly. We loved the fully equipped kitchen, the amazing jacuzzi, and the atmospheric fireplace. Parking was easy. Best of all, if the weather is clear, you can see the Aurora Borealis right outside the cottage or from the beach! The self check-in (lockbox) was very convenient. I highly recommend this place and will definitely return.

“Amazing stay in this beautiful house”

This property was amazing and we loved every minute of our stay! The highlight was seeing the northern lights from the hot tub.

The lodge is absolutely fantastic. All the the kitchen, bedroom and living room are top tier and very comfy. The whole place is excellent! Jacuzzi in the freezing cold of Tromvik's winter was no joke and still very fun! The fjords in the surroundings are astonishing and there are several parking places along the way, for those who come by car. We had 2 days with bad weather and 3 days with excellent weather. The lodge itself handles both conditions very well. We followed the recommendation in the rules book and went to Brosmetinden in both of the good weather nights to chase the northern lights and it paid off. The other 2 bad weather nights had aurora activity as well tho, we just couldn't barely see anything (we did it for a glimpse) because of the clouds. The lodge is a 1h drive from Tromso. We experienced the round-trip of the road to the city in all of the 4 nights and it was indeed manageable in the worst weather conditions as well, as long as you take your time driving. We got all conditions: rain, ice, snow, sun. When the weather is good, the views are insane and totally worth the distance from Tromso. I would even say Tromso is not a cozy city at all, but Tromvik was a paradise for that purpose, so the choice was perfect. I would never write this down in the "didn't like" section at all. Northern lights, fantastic fjord views, insane sunset and even polar clouds! We got them all. 100% recommended!

Amenity packed plush interiors, Kitchen with a view. The location is so amazing that you see Northern Lights from the patio of the house while unwinding in a Jacuzzi.

“Cosy perfect stay”

Its was really cosy house with everything you need during your stay. We saw the northern lights almost everyday and it was spectacular view.

Nice and easy communication already before we arrived. There are many advantages, just to mention some of them: -the house being already warm&cozy when we arrived -sense of music of the owners: installed their private Spotify premium account -beautiful Interieur like the hanging guitar -attentive gestures like shower gel&shampoo in the bathroom or a big welcome bowl with snacks and drinks -nice neighbors who helped out when we got stuck in the snow with the car -jacuzzi -well equipped kitchen -opportunity to wash clothes -landscape … last but not least overly warm hearted and laidback landlords who created a beautiful home for their guests. Robin&Benedicte took good care of everything through phone or personally. Thank you!

Great place located about an hour away from Tromso. The house has everything you need and of course the jacuzzi and fire place are amazing to relax and (if lucky) watch the Northern lights. Good communication with the host as well! We will be back!

Robin and Benedicte made us feel really welcome by giving us lots of useful information and by replying really fast. The lodge is amazing, nicely decorated and with loads of stock! Towels, bedsheets, food/drinks...everything was there. The facilities are great: there's a jacuzzi, a washing machine, fireplace and so much more.

the lodge and its facilities (everything you need and I really mean it when I say everything) are excellent, glad to experience a few days in a Norwegian house. jacuzzi amazing. Located at the end of the island, but with nice views and access to trails.

“Exceptional landscape, cosy and beautiful house, peaceful and relaxing.”

The location was beautiful and the house fabulous, even better than we hoped for. It was very quiet and relaxed after busy days in Tromso, and we loved to relax in the hot tub, and the living room with the log burner on. The beach is beautiful and the scenery constantly distracting! We got to see the Northern lights from the back terrace on our second night, despite poor weather, which was exciting! Our hosts were helpful, friendly and very kind with a little doorstep drop of 🍷!! Thank you, we will be back!

“amazing cozy home - watch aurora from the hot tub”

a fabulous property , modern but with character and very cozy the back deck has a hot tub and we got to see the aurora while sitting in it flowing over the mountains behind the property, there’s also a fire pit outside and lots of seating we saw the aurora 3 nights out of 3 , it’s nice and dark around the area and we were blessed with clear sky the house house a log burner which makes the place very cozy the heating works well and the house was always very warm there is plenty of space around the property a well stocked kitchen as well
