“Good nice hotel but very busy with a few issues”

Lovely location for a hotel by the river, facilities good, room had a great view of the river.

Even after several contacts with the hotel and the help of the Booking.com customer service, this hotel will not issue a proper invoice for my stay booked through this Plattform. I do not believe that it is legal in Sweden to offer services without invoice, but this hotel doesn't seem to care about that. In any case it is the contrary of a good customer service and I will never go back to this hotel.

There are lots of entertainment things for kids, which was great: a little playroom in the breakfast area, a football table, pingpong table, shuffelboard, and a very small swimming pool and sauna area. The breakfast was fine - fresh watermelon was a big plus! And they have good coffee machines for real coffee. If you are up before breakfast, then the coffee at reception is free. The gym was under construction, but there was a good quality rowing machine from Concept available. There are some amazing walks in the ares: follow Pilgrimsleden. Bunkbeds in the room was excellent for the kids, although the room itself was very squeezed. Good blackout curtains in the bedroom.

Amazingly nice staff, breakfast buffet exceptional and extremely well located but the room itself was very meagre for the room night cost compared to comparable 4 star properties. All-all-all a decent stay made better by the staff and the breakfasts.

“Weekend in Trollhättan”

The location, and the beautiful view from the room. The staff were wonderful, helpful and friendly. They gave us our room earlier than the usual check-in time, facing the water, as requested. The room was spacious and well-appointed, with nice modern details. Didn't get a chance to use the pool, but what we could see looked promising. The games area with the table tennis and "foosball" were welcome distractions for young and the not-so- young. The hotel is also pet-friendly - saw a couple of well-behaved dogs sitting patiently with their respective families in the hotel premises. Heartening 😊. Will definitely be coming back here again.

The staff are really friendly and helpful. The fitness room and swimming pool were under maintenance. This information was not available on Bookings when we arrived. The staff contacted and booked another facility 5 mins from hotel, with gym, swimming pool, sauna access. We really appreciate the effort.
