The owner was very friendly and helpful. He explained (I don't know how much tongue-in-cheek) how to behave in case of encounters with Canadian wildlife. Water pressure in the shower is amazingly high - maybe too much so, it feels like one of those massage showers set to 110%.

Clean nothing fancy. Hot water comfy bed. Perfect for the price

Price is so reasonable and staff was so kind and friendly.

It was very clean

Check the pillows they were filthy and yellow and the box spring had orange stains on it very bad odor in the room chairs had black stains and I ask for my money back and they didn't argue with me because they knew how filthy the room was, I don't recommend this hotel to clean people, I think it's disrespectful if your in an hospitality business and be so discuting, cleanliness should be your number one priority.

it is a simple motel located in a retail area, eating and shopping options are multiple within easy walking distance. the physical appearance of the motel is not at all impressive.

1) A decent, basic motel that met the needs for a one night stay. 2) Good air conditioning. 3) Nice flooring in the unit. May have been recently renovated.

Best value for money on the night we booked. Motel Populaire is located in a convenient location, close to main road, town and shops.

“Not enjoyable”

The room was clean, however upon further inspection, there was dirt under the mattresses, and the bed sheets were wrinkled as if they hadn't been changed. We had already paid for the room, and had been traveling for over 10hours from the east coast, so changing hotels wasn't an option. We slept on top of the blankets with our own blankets and pillows. Mattresses and box springs were very old and discolored. And hotel was in a sketchy part of town. We were not comfortable there at all. We stayed only to sleep, and got out of there as soon as we woke up.

The unit appeared clean. It was roomy and comfortable. There was a place to take our dogs for a walk. It was off the highway, so there was minimal noise.
