We spent a lovely week of our autumn vacation at Villa Stephanie. The place is spacious, well-equipped (even coffee capsules for the machine 😊), and George, the host, is super friendly and helpful. It’s quiet and perfect for anyone who’s not into big tourist resorts. The beach is just a 3-minute drive away, and the nearest shop about 20 minutes. Totally recommend it! 👍

The Villa was in a great location; with a choice of beautiful beaches stretching for several kilometres only minutes away in the car (and the largest only a short walk away). In addition there was a very good choice of Tavernas (approximately 10 that we found as well as beach bars/cafes) with some delicious dishes. We were astonished by the range of facilities and all the extras kindly provided for us: Wine, Bread, Butter, Cheese, Ham, Tea, Coffee, Biscuits, Orange juice, Water, Salt + Pepper, Olive oil, Washing up liquid, Washing powder, Scourers, Cloths, etc. etc. etc. George couldn’t have been more friendly and helpful when meeting us and showing us around and he worked tirelessly to keep the pool clean when winds blew debris into it. He also advised us on the best Tavernas when we chose to eat out.

I was absolutely delighted with my stay. Everything was above the standard usually found in places rented on Booking. The apartment was spotless, perfectly equipped and decorated with great attention to detail. The location was ideal. The host was extremely kind, helpful and genuinely welcoming, which is rare to find. I would definitely recommend this place and will surely come back!

Absolutely recomended. First of all, we were very warmly welcomed upon arrival by the host, who was so nic to fill out the fridge with water, juices among other things. That was really surprising and nice. Second, the house has literally everything you may need, it's like being in real house on vacation. The view is spectacular. You just drive downhill about 3 minutes and happen to be on one of the most beautiful beaches we have seen, with beautiful rocks on one side and a mountain in the background. Not so crowded and yet, one has everything needed. Plenty of tavernas on the beach itself as well as anywhere around the house. In the evening it's like being on the calm hill where you really can take a rest and relax. Stefania and George were treating us as a family almost. They were so kind and we could even stay longer before departure, to still be able to use the beach in the morning time and shower after it. I strongly recommend. We will be back 🙂

“Amazing!”

Cannot recommend this accommodation highly enough! The villa is brilliant, beautiful, very spacious, very comfortable, very clean and you have everything you need (including a fully equipped kitchen, all basic ingredients for cooking if you have time :), all supplies provided including plenty of coffee pods & treats, pool towels & plenty of towels, etc). The setting is gorgeous, the views over the mountains and the Libyan sea are stunning! Very relaxing and just amazing at any time of the day or night! We had slightly changing weather and we loved it - sometimes windy, no wind at all, sometimes some clouds over the mountains, a slight drizzle in one morning, calm sea, some fun waves in a couple of days. Just wonderful! Little Triopetra beach is brilliant, not crowded, just a few min. drive away, great food and feels fairly private and quiet. The hosts and owners, Stefania and George are exceptional! We felt pampered during our stay, from the warm welcome, many supplies available when we arrived, the treats received during the stay which were delicious, and the very pleasant conversations we had. Thank you very much for your hospitality and warm welcome! We felt like we went to a home away from home on this holiday! You are great people, rare to see now and you are the testimony of true greek hospitality! We loved it all - the hosts, the accommodation, the views, the location, the nearby beaches, the mountains, the villages around the area. We hope to come back soon!

“An exceptional villa in an exceptional location”

I don't normally write reviews but felt I had to for this villa (Villa Stefania). The villa is exceptional. It is spacious and very clean, with a swimming pool that was perfect for our family of five. The views from the villa are phenomenal. You can see the picturesque mountains spreading into the distance. On the other side you can see the ocean, with the sun glistening on the water. We stayed for 2 weeks and each day it was an absolute joy to sit on the balcony, relax and just enjoy the calming views. Triopetra beach is close by and is wonderful. It is enclosed, not overcrowded and perfect for swimming and snorkelling. There is a quintessential Greek taverna on the beach (Taverna Apanemia) which is a must visit. However, the distinguishing feature of this villa is the owners. Stefania and George are truly exceptional hosts. From the initial enquiries to when we left on our final day, they were perfect. Nothing was too much trouble. They have a genuine interest in making your stay relaxing and trouble free. They left plentiful supplies of local food and drink for when we arrived. They even brought cakes, drinks and gifts throughout our stay. George is a true gentleman. I can honestly say in over 20 years of staying in villas throughout Europe, we have never experienced such a warm welcome and heartfelt hospitality. Very nice hosts, good location in a rural area, slow life is reality here. We have spent almost 2 weeks here with 4 children. The sandy Little Triopetra beach is only 5 minutes by car. There are several good tavernas in a walking distance or a couple of minutes drive.

“From the moment of arrival this holiday was all that we had wanted and more.”

The property was all that we had wanted and more. Located very close to the beach and a beautiful pool at the villa to relax by. The views are incredible and all round a well worth visit. As for George and Stefania (the hosts) they were very attentive and always on hand to help. They had a good start up stock of food in the fridge for our arrival and some welcomed treats during the week. If you are looking for a quiet retreat from day to day life then this is the place to visit. Again thank you George and Stefania for making this a very relaxing and memorable visit for myself and my family.

“Perfect private getaway”

Triopetra Luxury Villas, is the perfect getaway for a private and relaxing holiday. The villas are located on the south side of the island, and if you are coming from Heraklion airport, about 2hours drive. At the property there are 2 villas located on the hill/mountain. The villa with the smaller pool is named Villa Nikos, and the Villa with the larger pool is named Villa Stefania. I have rented this property with 2 others, to have a getaway from our daily busy life and were in desperate need for some privacy and quiet time. The location and villa did not disappoint, as we were set in Villa Stefania upon arrival, the hosts of the property waited for our arrive. George and Stefania are the most amazing hosts you can ever wish for, even though we arrived late they still waited for us and communicated with us before arrival. George and Stefania showed us around the property and explained how everything worked, even provided us with a stocked fridge with fruits, wine, breakfast options, juices. Villa Stefania has 2 bedrooms which is located on the top floor and can easily host up to 4 people, the kitchen is fully equipped and ready to use, and overflows straight to the living room which has an eye catching fire place. The garden has multiple sun beds and beach umbrellas around the pool. Throughout our whole stay, George and Stefania communicated with us, and brought gifts, snacks, fruits and wine. They are the most caring hosts and run the villas with so much love. Close by to the villas there are several beaches which has a few tavernas with daily fresh food, only 10min drive away. Only a few minutes drive there is taverna Filenia which has fresh food and wonderful staff. For the closest supermarket is about a 20min drive in a small town called Spili. If you like a remote getaway and very private, then this is the place to be! I highly recommend this place, and would come back every time. We as group enjoyed our stay very much, and time flew by in an instant.

A perfect house for families, with many activities and toys for kids. The hosts are super kind and helped us a lot: they left many things for breakfast for us in the kitchen. The kitchen is very well equipped, with everything you need. The swimmig pool is lovely. The house it's just few minutes by car from triopetra beach, and less than 40 minutes from Preveli beach.

I visited with my three children, looking for a relaxing break away from the usual life and that's exactly what we got! The villa was lovely and clean just a few hundred yards away from the beaches. Stefania and George made sure we had everything we needed for our stay, the fridge was fully stocked with basic amenities, George took us to the nearby village to buy stuff we needed for our stay. Stefania and George are one of the best hosts, they made sure our stay was as comfortable and enjoyable as possible.

The hosts will make sure your stay is fantastic. You have stunning views of the mountains and the sea. The beaches are really great- with clear water. Several beaches to choose from. Several tavernas very close by, all serving great food all day. Easy car ride to the north coast. If you want tranquility and just do your own thing come here. This place gets our best review. We had the greatest time here.
