“(One of) The best place in Creta!”

I strongly suggest Maria’s place to anyone is going to the center/south of Crete. Is strategic for the most beautiful and less touristic beaches of this wonderful island. The house is absolutely wonderful. Clean, with all you need there. With a wonderful swimming pool. Really quiet (you are alone in a super safe place). Cretan people likes to feel you part of their family. And Maria is absolutely a leader on this. It is clear that she and her family puts all her love in this house. And she is one of the best host I ever met. Thanks a lot!!!! I will suggest this place to anyone who is planning to go to south Crete. Last…. About Tabernas… I cannot judge which is the best one. But there are plenty of places around triopetra. One better than the other. Maria… I’ll come back again whenever I’ll have holidays in Crete.

“Nice villa with swimming pool and beautiful view of mountain”

Stayed for the 2nd time at Maria's Place, because we like the mountain view and the quiet location with no neighbours. We noticed some improvements had been made to the property since our last visit which was appreciated.

Maria’s Place had everything we needed to have a brilliant relaxing holiday. The swimming pool was a highlight and the villa was lovely.

First of all the host, Maria, deserves a 10+++, which lifts the overall result of the property to a 9,50. But you cannot chose 9,50 as a grade for the property, so it gets a 10 from our side. She is very careful that you have everything you need, without being intrusive. She could teach other hosts about hospitality. The house is perfect for a family traveling with their kids. It is the size of a fair 2 bedroom apartment, each bedroom with it's own bathroom, with a nice, large kitchen and a common place to have dinner. But "la pièce de résistance" is the terrace which includes a nice swim pool nice sun beds with umbrellas, an outdoor table and a grill. It's almost like having a second outdoor living room, which includes a swim pool. The terrace only has a view to the mountain, there is no view to the Libyan Sea from the property. The whole property is located inside an olive tree orchard, but one of the sides is next to a road. However this is not such a big issue, as there are very few cars passing by. This is not a luxury house, so those who are looking for luxury conditions should be aware and look further, but it's a perfect place for a family vacation with a reasonable budget.

“Amazing home from home”

Amazing place. Fresh air, blue water. Quite atmosphere but at the same time 4 tavernas 5min drive away. Lovely, helpful owner. Can't fault anything. Recommend to people who is looking for peaceful and beautiful time away.
