“Lovely place”

Everything was good — the location, the staff, the cottage. Everything we needed was there. It was comfortable and really nice. If I’m in that area again, I’ll definitely stay there again.

Cozy cabins with everything essential provided with a kitchen. The location and views are amazing. We could hear the Californian sea lions the entire time. Close to the Redwoods.

It was a great stay, everything was great however the only problem I had was that I was sharing a wall with neighbour and could hear them walking around all night

What an amazing property! Feels secluded but close to town. Staff were amazing! The cabin is perfect for a group. Beds were comfortable, kitchen had all the necessary appliances, dvds and games to borrow! Perfect stay!

Fabulous chalet in a very peaceful location a few minutes drive from Trinidad shops, restaurants and beach. Very clean and modern. Big kitchen/living area and huge bedroom and bathroom. Everything you could possibly need. Big terrace with sea view and you can hear the seals barking in the distance. Lovely sunsets and so tranquil.

Great lodge with a cabin feel. Everything we needed and more. Nice to have a lounge area in the lodge after staying in hotels. We could see the sea and the sunset which was a bonus. Substantial breakfast delivered in a bag ready for the morning. Great private patio area which was a sun trap. Nice quiet place to relax. Comfy bed and well appointed bathroom: everywhere clean and new.

It's a beautiful, quiet, peaceful location, and very close to terrific stands of redwoods and a number of lovely beaches. The nearby town of Trinidad, CA is also cute. The lodge is extremely well organized and seems to have thought of everything a guest might want/need.

The rooms are nice and a little outside of Trinidad - great to go and see the Redwoods.

Was so impressed with this place. Best spot we had stayed on our two week road trip. Clean simple but perfectly appointed cabins. Beautiful location. Friendly staff. Would highly recommend.

The location of the property is the best with ocean views, a large backyard, beautiful trees, a cozy and pleasant house.

“Cosy and enjoyable stay”

We had a great 2 night stay here, the hostess was friendly and gave us lots of information on places to visit, eat and recommended hiking trails. We liked the simple selection of breakfast options to choose from, the breakfast was delivered the night before with a delightful knock on the door. This was great for us because we had early starts to the day and didn't have to wait. Laundry facilities were great and included washing detergent. The ocean view from the balcony was great. I liked the selection of hard and soft pillows to choose from on the bed.

Newly refurbished and very clean. Nice breakfast choices. Very helpful and friendly. Peaceful and quiet grounds in December, pretty setting, convenient to outings and close enough to town. Nice deck if there hadn't been rain. We got lucky and did not have neighbors/noise.

Breakfast was convenient and nice. The host at reception was very helpful and pleasant. The room was homely enough and quite spacious. Overall the cabin had a nice, cosy feel.

It was a good base for exploring Redwood National Park.
